Passing the time

"So what are we gonna do to pass the time?"

Gregory's question rang true. Now that they're all together thanks to the buddy system established by Scott and Vanessa, what will they do to pass the time while the raging storm keeps them trapped inside. "We could play some games!" Jeremy suggested. "What kind of games?" The boy asks. "I got plenty of ideas like, guess that song lyric , Tic tac toe , glowstick mini golf with Monty, some board games, tabletop RPGs that I once played with some new friends when I went to this year's MomoCon in Georgia," Vanessa stops him there, "What's an RPG?" Jeremy answered her, "RPG stands for Role-Playing Game. Anywho, we could also play name that song it's a bit like guess that song lyric but you have to figure out the title of the song instead of trying to fill in the blank for the lyrics. Oh! There's also a rainy day classic that can't be beat that that's charades!" Even in the darkness, his eyes sparkled with his idea of passing the time while being stuck indoors.

"Oh look at the time, I better get to bed." Gregory said heading to Freddy's room only to be stopped by Sarah. "Last time I checked, you don't care for when it was bedtime. Give the guy a chance, don't try to pull a Vanessa on him." She tells him. "Pull a Vanessa, is that another way of coldly rejecting someone?" Roxy asked. The blond security guard looked annoyed considering the many times she had rejected Vincent and his screwball attempts to win her over which would fail miserably. It's a miracle that she did not get a restraining order on him.

"How about some of those games you told us?" Vincent said already growing annoyed. Jeremy starts off with a round of charades.

"Here's how it goes, I'm not gonna say a word and you're gonna have to guess through my actions so keep those flashlights on me." Says Jeremy which got Vincent to shine his light on his face. "Not by making me blind I forgot to add!" He said rubbing his eyes. "Mine's an LED not as powerful though. I'm still waiting on that other flashlight I bought off the internet." He said rather bugged.

"Okay, two words, first word, um... stomp, no, stamp?!" Jeremy shakes his head annoyed and does it again a neck wringing action.

"Thanos strangling Loki!" Mike shouts.

"A rage quitting gamer shaking his controller violently." Fritz answered.

That wasn't either of them!

"It's Homer Simpson choking Bart!" Anais answers.

"You're correct!" He high fives the redhead letting her have turn in the next round.

"It's your own Jojo Stand from Jojo's Bizarre Adventures!" Jeremy eagerly guesses prompting Anais to shake her head.

"You're making an offer we can't refuse!"

Not it either as she makes a beheading gesture.

"Off with your head!" Scott shouts. She winks at him as a way saying he is close enough.

"King Henry VIII ordering to have Anne Boleyn's head chopped off!"

"Vincent... what the actual hell?!"

"I call it as I see it." He shrugged, as she does it again. "It's the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland." Says Vanessa. "That's right!"

Many rounds of charades later...

"This is pretty amusing, Freddy." Gregory said sitting by the glamrock bear's side. "Agreed."
"One more round you guys no holding back!" Jeremy says eagerly. "Everyone else had a turn except Gregory!" He waves over to the boy flashlight in hand. "Come right up, little buddy."
"Show us what you got, little buddy!" Vincent said flashlight at the ready. "Just ignore him, he gives different kinds of nicknames even though there are people who never asked!" Mike tells him.

"Okay, it's a movie, first word." The boy pretends to write chickenscratch on a clipboard. "Boss!"
He shook his head. "Party planner!" That ain't right. "Doctor!" He nods and then make air circles. "You're a wizard, Gregory!" Mike shouts out. He shrugged seeing he is getting close. "Magican!" Almost. "A Sith lord using the Force!" Seriously?! "Sorcerer!" Getting warmer. He makes a portal motion jumping from one spot to another.

"It's Doctor Strange!" Vanessa calls. "You got it!"
"That was very impressive, Superstar." Freddy said to the young brunette.

After charades, they played other rainy day games ranging from shadow puppetry, flashlight freeze tag, regualar flashlight tag and more until Vincent thought of an idea with the darkened environment around him.
