THE GATE MIRROR

(1) * Who Am I ?

"Nothing about my life is so good.I always wanted to be happy. But everyone are abonding me. My parents have gone abroad. Now they seems to be very busy. They have even lost their time to call me. Why even I'm here? My friends too ignore me as I'm not much funny with them. My best friend has found a new friend who she is very fond of so she too now speaks me less. These days she is cheating on me. This hurts me so much rather than speaking me directly. Oh my girl! I feel so depressed. " HIN was speaking to her self and sighed.
She was a 23 years old girl who lives alone in a big luxurious house. But all her wealth was unable to fade away her loneliness. As she was staying quiet most often her friends think she isn't funny and merely a dull girl.
But the thing was that they weren't good matching to her. Because she was so good , kind , smart and so special.
This time she was walking along her big garden of green. She went closer to the rusted gate placed in a far corner of the garden. Usually she never goes such a far in the garden but her gut has taken her there.the rusted gate was too big. It was nearly seven feets in height.

" Oh! You only have lost one metal arm. It's too easy for me to give you your life again. Let me show you my art. You won't feel worthless never again" Hin grabbed her hair stick and took it out of her hair and placed it where the gate had lost one iron rod. It really went well with it.

"Wonderful! It matches you. You should protect it because I adore it very much."
" I have spent a lot of money on buying it at the museum of K ART You know that goods in Korea aren't too cheap nowadays.... Oh ! stupid girl stop talking nonsense. It doesn't  worth speaking to a gate. "
HIN turned to go back but she suddenly noticed a change in the gate. It was disappearing ; No , really it was changing in to a mirror.
" Whoa! What .. what the heck's this ? What's going on? Am I seeing things ? No ,no , it can't be. It's true that I felt bad but I'm not crazy; Oh, is this a real mirror? I guess it's not. This is merely an imagination of me..."

"Just an imagination !"

She slowly moved her hand towards the mirror and touched it to know whether it was a real one. She could feel it , "the mirror" , it was really there. She closed her eyes tightly to get rid of this day dreaming.
And when she opened her eyes,
The mirror was gone. And the gate was there again. She saw that her hair stick was fallen on to the ground. While bending to take it back she murmured herself ;
" Oh my goodness , At least it's not real"
But suddenly she noticed a strange thing...She wasn't wearing what she had been wearing few seconds ago.
She was wearing a Hanbok.
"What ! A royal Hanbok ? Oh don't tell me that I have time travelled or something like that.
It's real that I wanted to die because of boredom.But it's not that I wanted to be crazy or to experience any fantasy !"
The tears were near to come out from her eyes ..
"This is too much "she screamed closing her eyes.
" This is too much! Why are you doing this to me , my princess ? We have to go back. The king is asking for you"
A sound came from far behind her. HIN was shocked
"The king? What a nonsense am I hearing ?"
"Do you think I 'm married ? I'm just Twenty three. Who the hell are you to talk me like that? This's not funny , right!"
HIN turned towards the direction where the sound came from... A girl, seemed to be in her age, was staring at her somewhat angrily. She hurried towards her. She too was wearing a hanbok with less designs and Hin thought that it was so charming.
"White and pink . A good matching of clours. And less designs. So beautiful . I wish mine would be like this dress too" HIN thought for a while.
"Oh, what I'm thinking ?"she returned back to her mind.
The girl in pink hanbok approached her and grabbed her hands tightly.
" They are so cool."
The words jumped out of HIN's mouth without giving a thought . And her eyes were opened.
" Ah! Sorry my princess , I didn't think to do so. I was so afraid and was looking for you the whole night as you suddenly disappeared from my sight yesterday. I thought you were running away. But why are you standing here? Infront of this gate;"
She loosen her hands from grabbing HIN tightly and HIN who didn't know anything about the current situation wondered ;
"Running away ? What is she talking about ?Am I that bad? No..Wait ...Is this princess  this maid is looking for that bad?"
And replied herself :
" I don't know either "
" Oh my princess , let's hurry up " The girl HIN mentioned as the maid above dragged her hand and started to run.
" What is this place really? It looks like a kingdom. Why is this girl in such a hurry ? What has happend to me? or to this princess ? Oh! Who is the king she talked about? And what has this girl , the princess , has done?I don't know how I came here either. The only thing I know is now I'm in a huge trouble!"
Hin was so confused with her thoughts. She felt like she was completely messed up by the strange surrounding ...
"Hold on please ...!"
She screamed.
"You, tell me why are you calling me as 'my princess'.
And who are you? And who am I?"
"Tell me now, Unless you tell me , I won't come with you!"
" Oh my princess , why are you acting like this? don't you really know who I am? "
The girl replied as it was a joke to her.

"Nope!"
HIN shook her head.
"Oh! Ok then, I'm SOO JINHI, your maid, and your one and only friend who had been knowing you from your childhood ; Now, you got it my princess ?"the girl introduced herself to HIN.
" Yes somewhat, and what about me? Who am I" HIN asked.
"Ah! You ? You are the second daughter of the king of Bei Lu , KIM DON YOON. And you have an elder sister and a younger brother. Your elder sister is the Princess , 'KIM SHI HWU' and she's marrying today with the prince of Shilla 'PARK YONG WU'. Your brother , the prince WOON MIN is just 16 years old . He arrived to the palace last night from his archery college to attend in princess SHI HWU's wedding ." JINHI explained .
"Then what's my name? you forgot tell to tell it to me' HIN uttered another question while trying to understand everything about the strange situation around her very well.
" You ! you are the king's beloved daughter , "KIM YEWON HIN".
JINHI answered.
"Princess , now it's enough. I should bring you to the palace immediately . You have to explain yourself to the king for running away. Everyone was worrying about you. The wedding should be started. If we become late there will be a huge destruction. You have to protect our kingdom as it's princess. So don't do any mistake" JINHI wanted to hurry in to the palace.
" What should I do now? I know nothing about these things. I even don't know what kind of a person this princess is. So how can I explain? Should I say that I came here through a mirror which appeared in front of me out of nowhere .. Or should I say that it was because of that gate.. No, they won't do any good. I have to manage these things in a good way until I get to know about what happend to me and find a way to get out of here"
HIN thought for a while. Looked at the maid and replied ;
"JINHI , Take me to the palace immediately . I really remember nothing about last night, but I will do my best to protect me and your kingdom!"
