y/n pov:
I grabbed my keys from the counter and said "bye guys I'll be back later" to my friends as I went to leave the hype house. I closed the door behind me and went to my car. I got in and started my car and put on my favorite playlist.
I texted my boyfriend Jack saying I was on the way and got no response. That was odd but I just brushed it off, maybe he was in the shower or something. After the short 15 minute drive I got out and went to unlock his door "Babe where are you" I yelled as I couldn't see him. I took off my shoes and set my keys down.
"Hello? Is anyone home" I said as I walked up the stairs toward his room. As I approached I heard faint moans from a girl in his room. I tried to open the door but it was locked. My heart sank and my eyes started to burn. "Jack open the door" I said as tears began to fall. I heard movement from the room and he opened the door. I saw some girl putting her shirt on as he zipped his pants.
"It's not what it looks like" he frantically said. "What do you mean it's not what it looks like. You were fucking another girl in our bed. Why would you do this to me?" I said between sobs. "Baby I'm so sorry, can we talk about this later?" He pleaded as the girl walked past us to leave. "Fuck no! There won't be a later.
We're done and I'm leaving" I stormed off and went to grab my keys. I took the key to his apartment off and threw it at him. "Take that I don't want it." I slipped my shoes on and left in tears. I immediately called Vinnie. We have been best friends since we were little kids.
When we both stated gaining popularity online we moved into the hype house together and had rooms beside each other. We were basically inseparable. "Hey Siri call Vinnie" I said. "Ok calling Vinnie" she said back.
V- hey what's up
Y-Jett and I just broke up I'm on the way home
V- What? Are you ok? I'm outside waiting for you. I'll see you when you get here ok?
Y- ok I'm 5 minutes away bye.
I hung up the phone and drove as fast as I could back to the hype house. I pulled in and parked my car and saw Vinnie coming towards me. "Y/n what happened" he said while wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to him. I couldn't even talk between my sobs.
"C'mere he said as he picked me up and carried me inside. "What's wrong with her" Mia said. "Jack broke up with her I think, she hasn't told me anything else" he replied as he carried me up the stairs and into his room.
He sat me down and took my shoes off and got me some tissues. He grabbed a tissue and cupped my face in his hands. "It's ok, just cry if you need to" he said as he wiped my tears. He got up and laid down beside me and pulled me onto his chest.
"Vin I walked in and he was fucking another girl" I managed to get out between my tears. "But she was really pretty. I wish I looked like her and was enough for him. What did I do wrong" I cried out. "You did nothing wrong . He messed up not you. You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen y/n.
Don't compare yourself to her" he softly said as I cried into his chest and he held me close to him. After a while I finally stopped crying. "I'm sorry" I said, barley above a whisper. "For what? You didn't do anything"Vinnie replied sounding confused. "For making you deal with me and my life" I said. "No baby, I want to be here for you. I love you y/n" he sweetly said. "I love you too." We said that all the time, but as friends not lovers.
I traced his tattoos on his chest and quickly fell asleep with him. "I love you sweet girl. I wish you were mine. I would never treat you like that" he whispered, thinking I was asleep. But I heard it just as I fell asleep. When I woke up I was still laying on Vins chest but he was just waking up. "Vin?" I said. "Mhm" he replied sleepily. "I heard what you said last night when you thought I was asleep.
Did you really mean it" I asked. "Of course I did." "Well I feel that same way" I said. "Really? Would you be mine them" he said with the biggest smile on his face. "Yes baby" I replied and leaned in for a soft kiss. Vinnie pulled me into a hug and kissed my head. "You don't know how long I have been waiting for this" he whispered as we cuddled and fell back to sleep.
