"ROSE GET OVER HERE I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD I WILL DROP KICK YOU." billie yells laughing a little mid-sentence.

"CATCH ME THEN SLOW HOE!" rose yells back still running.

rose runs into billie's room and billie who had been running close behind tackles her onto the bed. rose and billie start laughing and rose tries to wiggle away but it's no use.

"so, what was that about me being a slow hoe?" billie asks catching her breath and still chuckling.

"you still are, i just slowed down because i felt bad for you" rose says, obviously lying.

billie gets off of rose and starts laughing.

"sure you did." billie says laying back on her bed.

rose gets up and lays back on the opposite side of billie. there was a comfortable silence for a couple seconds before billie spoke.

"you know, I'm really glad we met. like for real. you make every day for me, a little less unbearable. i couldn't ask for a better friend than you." billie says a small smile growing on her face.

"same, i don't know how to express my feelings in that many words, but same." rose says giggling and smiling.

billie laughs at rose's words and moves her silver hair out of her face. she holds her pinkie finger out and looks at rose.

"best friends?" she says, a smile creeping up on her face.

rose puts her head down with a smile and chuckles. she puts her head back up and intertwines her pinkie with billie's.

"best friends." she says with a big smile on her face.

yeah. that didn't work out.

(look, i know this "chapter" was extremely short but i just wanted to put a small part in here to show a bit of the events that happened before the majority of the story takes place)
