"If anyone has seen or has come in contact with Derek Hale, please contact the nearest la-"Maeson turned the television off, Carolyn looked down from the now black screen to her daughter. "I want to go back to school." Maeson said firmly and Carolyn sighed. "Remember when I sprain my ankle, and all I did was lay around and you got mad at me for that? The same for when I fell down the stairs and I broke my finger, the same for when I- Mom I'm a clumsy child but every time I fell you always told me-"
"To get up and try again." Carolyn sighed, shifting her sitting position.
"Well I mean that time I fell down the stairs you yelled at me but yes," Maeson joked and Carolyn laughed. Kate had advised to give Carolyn a chance, "You told me to get up and try again and to not let that same thing knock me back down. That is probably the best advice anyone has ever given me." Carolyn chewed on the inside of her cheek, she didn't want to let Maeson out of this hospital- she had specific plans for them both- none involving Beacon Hills.
"Fine, let me ring Kate." Carolyn stood up and Maeson took a deep breath, her full lips curling into a smile. "But I don't want you with anyone else but her niece, I'm sure I'll get her parents to agree to this." Her dark brows raised in seriousness and Maeson nodded, just happy that Carolyn was agreeing.
Maeson reached over to the night stand, grabbing her phone and shooting Allison a quick text. She tapped her phone, waiting for Allison to respond when her phone went black for a moment before Allison's caller ID popped up. Maeson raised her brow, "Hello?"
"Hey." Allison's voice was shaky, the older teen wiped her nose with her sleeve, rubbing her temple. "I'm sorry- should I have kept texting?"
"Oh, no it's fine. What's wrong- are you crying?" Maeson asked, sitting up and Allison sniffled in response. "What happened?"
"I-I don't know- S-Scot sent me these pictures of me and him- and I just-"Allison took a deep breath. "Why would he do that? W-why?" She began to cry again, as much as she wished she wasn't. She didn't want to feel this, this pain. She felt weak knowing she felt this way- she felt the way she felt that night at the school- and she hated it.
"Allison!" Maeson snapped. "I don't know why Scott would do that but you can't let this get the best of you. I bet you look really good today- don't cry your makeup off! You know mascara isn't cheap." Maeson joked and Allison giggled. "I've known Scott for a while now, he's a good guy- trust me when I say he didn't send those to hurt you. Think about it, he probably was hoping it would convince you to get back with him."
"But I can't do that-"
"Why, I thought you said it felt perfect being with him?" Maeson raised her brow.
"It did!" Allison stood up from the toilet seat. "But he was keeping so many secrets, too many. I-I can understand maybe a few- I just met him, maybe that's why. Maybe we just moved too fast?" Allison asked, sitting back down.
"Probably. But you had him wrapped around your finger-"Maeson added and Allison giggled again, sighing as she had felt a lot better.
"Thanks Maeson." Allison breathed.
"No problem."
"Seriously, thank you." Allison repeated. "Lydia would have tried to cheer me up by setting me up with one of the players or something." Maeson balled her fists, her mind replayed Jackson's visit from the night before. "I gotta go- I just totally like ran out of class." Allison laughed and Maeson laughed along as best as she could. "Bye."
