chapter three
"What the hell are you doing in my house?" I asked him as I watched him pace around the living room, looking for something.
"This is still my house until the end of the week, Rah," He answered.
I clicked my tongue.
"Boy, get out, or do I have to obtain a restraining order against you," I said.
"If anything, I should be getting a restraining order after you nearly kicked my head off my shoulders," He said as he kept searching for something.
"I should have done more after I caught your ass cheating on me," I said as I bent over to grab the baseball bat I kept hidden under the couch for safety reasons.
I felt like it was the best time to use it for safety reasons as I watched him tear the living room apart looking for whatever made him bold to come to my house after the bullshit he pulled.
"You knew how I was when we got together, Rah," He said.
"Nigga, I should kill you," I said as I swung the bat near his head.
He jumped out of the way and stared at me in shock.
"Yoo! You're fucking crazy," He said.
"You knew that when you got with me," I said; I'm using his words against him.
"Look, I just need to find my Superbowl ring, and I'll be out of here," He said.
"Oh, I pawned it; it's going to my baby's trust fund," I said, lying. I had no idea where that fucking ring was, but he didn't need to know that.
"You did what!" He shouted.
He started walking towards me.
"If you hit me, you know you're going to jail, right," I said as I held the baseball bat out to keep him from reaching me.
He chuckled bitterly.
"You're are crazy," He said.
"I am," I said.
"Where's my ring, Rah?" He asked.
"As I said, it's sitting in my baby's trust fund. Since you want to be a deadbeat, it's the least you could provide for my baby," I explained to him.
"Bitch, I'm going to kill you!" He yelled at me.
I laughed.
"Baby, you touch me, and I'll have the boys on you like a bitch in heat," I said.
"What the fuck is going on here?!" Robyn yelled, walking in with her bodyguards and Rakim.
"Oh, you called back up," He said, looking at me.
"What you thought I was just going to be okay with you in my house?" I asked him.
"I just want my damn ring, and I'll leave," He replied.
"What, ring? Nigga, back off my sister before I make you," Robyn said, walking over to where he and I were standing, but Rakim immediately grabbed her, making her stop.
"You're pregnant, remember that," Rakim told her.
"Then get him away from my sister," Robyn said.
"Come over here, Rah," Rakim told me.
I rushed over to Rakim and stood next to Robyn.
"Now what the hell is he talking about?" Rakim asked me.
I shrugged.
"He came over here looking for his Superbowl ring, and I've never seen such a thing in this house," I explained to Rakim.
"You just said you pawned it!" He yelled.
"Nigga, I was lying; probably one of your hoes stole it," I said.
"Why the hell are you playing games with me, Rah," He said with a sigh.
"Bitch ass nigga, you played me!" I yelled.
"Rah, calm down," Robyn said.
I rolled my eyes.
"I need him to leave and never come back; he and that damn ring can go to hell for all I care," I said.
"Bruh, she doesn't have the ring; you probably misplaced it, but I need you to leave; you're causing her stress, and she doesn't need that right now," Rakim explained to him.
I got teary-eyed, and that set Robyn off.
"Before you leave, I need you never to come around my damn sister. Even since she met you, all she's done is cry her eyes out over you; I don't know who raised you, but I need you to learn not to treat women like the way you treated my sister, and you have the nerve to abandon your child before they're even here; you're a joke! Bitch ass nigga; I swear if I weren't pregnant, I would demolish your face," Robyn yelled as I grabbed her to keep from walking up to him.
"Yo! Chile, Robyn," Rakim said.
"Robyn, let him go," I said.
Robyn glared at me.
"Look at you; you know I can't, and seeing you hurt. I will hurt this nigga over you, Rah; I swear we are beefing forever, pussy!" Robyn yelled at him.
He just shook his head and headed to the front door and opened it.
"I promise you; you will never be able to be in the same room as my sister and her baby, nigga! I'm going to end you!" Robyn yelled.
"Robyn!" I screamed.
"What?" Robyn asked as everyone looked at me.
"I need to go to the hospital," I sobbed as I started seeing terrible cramps before I got light-headed and hit the floor.
"Grab her," Robyn told Rakim. Her voice was breaking up in fear.
"She's breathing, but her pulse is weak," Rakim said after he checked on her breathing and pulse.
"I'm calling 911, and you need to leave," Robyn told him as she pulled out her phone and dialed 911, and glared at him standing at the door.
"Is she going to be okay?" He asked, torn between leaving and staying.
"It's not like you care," Robyn answered.
