Rahema took Jack's arm confidently, looking over to the crowd of people, smiling as all eyes are currently on the two of them.
Jack's face suddenly becomes serious all of a sudden.
"What's wrong?" Rahema asked Jack.
"Nothing," He replied as he smiles at her and he gestures forward, moving slightly in front of her and blocking her view of the room.
Rahema nod at him.
"Here, sit here. The booth is a little more private," Jack told Rahema.
"That's fine," Rahema said.
Jack looked over at something and sighed.
"You know let's go somewhere more private," Jack said.
Rahema raised her eyebrows at Jack.
"What's up?" Rahema asked him.
"I just feel too many people are looking at us. And I want us to have more privacy," Jack replied.
Rahema nods.
"Okay," Rahema said.
Rahema stands up and Jack leads her out of the hotel's restaurant and to a ballroom in the hotel.
"Why do we have to go to a ballroom for lunch?" Rahema asked Jack.
Jack looked at her and smirked.
"Close your eyes," Jack told her.
Rahema pouted.
"Jack, no more surprises," Rahema said.
Jack put his hand over her eyes.
"As long as you're with me, I'm always going to surprise you, Rah," Jack said.
Rahema sighed unaware that her family and closest friends were in the ballroom waiting for her to arrive so they can celebrate her baby shower.
Originally, Robyn and she were supposed to have a joint baby shower but when Robyn told her the theme. Rahema later changed her mind and decided not to do a joint baby shower with Robyn. Since they wanted different themes. Last week, Robyn had a rave-themed baby shower and today, Rahema would have a garden-themed baby shower.
Security opened the doors and Jack guided Rahema into the ballroom. He moved his hand and everyone yelled "Surprise!"
Rahema jumped slightly and started laughing.
"Oh no, Jack!" Rahema said as she lightly hit him on the chest.
Rahema sees the bustle of activity in the ballroom, from the waiters to, the stream of guests everywhere.
"Welcome to your baby shower," Jack told Rahema.
