"Suze called."
Angel sighed, staring at her hands that were folded on the counter. "And what did Suze say?" She sighed, looking up at her mother."She wanted to know if you were okay, and I didn't know why you wouldn't be, until she told me that Rue had outed Cassie for sleeping with Nate." Quinn explained. "So, what happened?"
"She's a bitch." Angel shrugged.
"And a whore." Reina added, shoving a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.
Angel gave her sister a small smile, looking back at her mom and step-father. "What? She fucked my... ex, whatever he is and then tried lying about it." She shrugged.
"Well then," Quinn sighed, getting up to pour herself a glass of wine, "Screw him, not literally," she said quickly, "But screw him."
Angel chuckled, shaking her head. "Don't worry, they'll get what they deserve coming to them." Angel and Reina made eye contact, knowing that what was coming was soon, it was all controlled by Angel herself, just like everything else.———————————
That night, when Maddy had come home from babysitting, Nate was sitting in the corner of her room, waiting for her. Maddy had just changed out of her wet clothes, and walked out of her closet, stopping in her tracks, seeing Nate, the sound of his gun cocking making her jump.
"What are you doing?" She asked shakily.
"Don't worry, I'm not here to apologize-"
"It's not me you should be apologizing to." Maddy glared.
Nate ignored here, tilting his head. "Can you imagine if I was sitting here with a gun forcing anyone to accept an apology?" He chuckled.
"You're fucking psychotic." She glared.
"Yeah..." he nodded. "I know." Nate stood up, walking over towards Maddy, he moved her over towards her bed, sitting across from her. "Now, I know you and Angel almost better than anyone in the world. And she's pissed, isn't she?"
Maddy nodded slowly, gulping. "What is she planning on doing?""Ask her yourself." She said quietly.
"Why do you think my dad likes to film himself?" Nate asked, walking around Maddy's room.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She said flatly, watching him. He sighed, shaking his head, walking back towards Maddy.
"Can you believe it was Jules?" Nate walked around the room frowning, "There's nothing left of us in here... Anyways, I'm gonna need that disc now."
"I don't have it anymore." She gulped, looking down at the gun in Nates hand. Nate hummed, taking a bullet out and putting it to Maddy's stomach.
"Okay, fine." He pressed the trigger once, no bullet being fired, Maddy started to cry softly.
"Stop it. I don't have it, I swear."
"Where is it?" Nate asked harshly.
"A-Angel." Maddy cried. "Angel has it. I gave it to her yesterday."
Nate stood up, nodding, "Goodbye, Maddy."

Angel had gone back downstairs to her room after spending a few hours with Reina in her room, smoking some weed. She switched her light on gasping, seeing Nate sitting on her couch.
Nate stared at her, Angels face hardening."I don't want to hear any apologies, Nate. Get the fuck out." She snapped, moving towards the side door, opening it.
"I know you don't want to hear it, but I'm sorry." He whispered. "I know it's all I say, but really, I am sorry." He nodded.
"What are you doing here Nate?" She said, taking a deep breath.
"You have something I need." He said. He pulled out the gun, cocking it, Angels heart dropping. "Close the door." Angel did as he said, closing it.
"Nate, your scaring me." She said shakily.
"I know," He nodded. "And I'm sorry." He started to walk towards her, making her move towards her bed.
"Nate... please." She whimpered. "I still love you, I love you, Nate." She said, a few tears running down her face. "Please, don't hurt me, I still love you."
"I hurt you, I broke your trust." He said, the gun on her hip. "You still love me after anything and it's killing you. You have to let go, I have to let go." Tears pooled in Angels eyes hearing him say what she knew all along. He stood up, walking over to her picture wall, seeing pictures of them, pulling a few off.
Angel let the tears silently fall, biting her cheek. He then moved to her vanity, seeing the diamond bracelet he had gotten her for her 18th birthday, picking it up and slipping it into his pocket."You know, you've been with me through everything. Finding out about my dad... the assault charges..." he said, looking back over to her. "And I can't thank you enough. "Do you think that I'll ever end up like that?"
"No." She said shakily. "You're nothing like him." She sniffled. Nate looked over to her and took a deep breath.
"You know what I'm here for. And I need it now."
Angel shook her head. "I don't have it." She lied. Nate sighed, nodding. He took the barrel out, clicking it back in, making the tears run down her face once again. Angel cried as Nate shakily lifted the gun to his head, sitting level with Angel.
"Nate..." She whimpered. He pushed her back with one hand, hovering over her. "Nate, stop, please." She begged. He gave Angel a kiss, pulling the trigger, nothing happening. "Stop! Stop, Nate, please!?"
He did it again, breathing heavily, kissing her once again as he pulled it. Nate let out a grunt, tears in his eyes, seeing her crying. He did it one more time, nothing happening again, Angel sobbing at this purse. He gave her another soft kiss, about to pull it again, Angel let out another cry, her hand pulling up to the gun, pulling it away from his head. "In the drawer, it's in my side drawer." She cried. "Please don't, it's in the drawer." Nate relaxed, laying his head on her chest, listening to her racing heart.
She pushed him off of her, Nate stumbling back. She sat up, hugging her knees to her chest. She cried into her knees, shaking. Nate grabbed the disc, looking up at the panicking blonde, his heart slightly breaking.
"Angel, Angel, hey, I'm sorry." He frowned. "I'm sorry. I was- I was jok-"
"Don't fucking touch me!" She shouted, shoving him away. Nate stood up, Angel shoving him towards the door.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
"Get the fuck out! Get the fuck out!"
"Angel, there were no bullets in the gun, I jus-"
"Go fuck your bitch, Nate. Get the fuck out of my house and stop talking to me. Leave!"
"Angel, please-"
"How long. Nate?" She whimpered. He just stared at her, sad. "How long?!"
"A little over a month." He said, his voice cracking.
"Get the fuck out." She said quietly. Opening the door and shoving him out, "I love you, but I hate you for making me love you, I never want to see you again." She slammed the door in his face. Nate frowning, putting his head on the door, wanting to go back inside.
"I'm sorry."
