Interview
L. Good morning everyone my name is Leo and today I am here with Autumn danvers, it is lovely to meet you thank you for coming.
A. Thank you for having me its nice to meet you too.
L. I have to say I love your outfit, So how are you doing.
A. I am doing okay at the moment I am enjoying being able to have more freedom to do what I want compare to being on set but it does feel weird not to be on set but I am still working hard. How are you.
L. I am great, so we haven't heard of what you have been up to work wise for the last 2 months so what have you been working on.
A. Well I have been working on my music as I am hoping to get a album released soon hopefully and i have been working closely on some companies and charities.
L. Wow well that sounds amazing it's been a while since we heard a song from you but we all know its going to be amazing. So tell me more about theses clarity work.
A. Well growing up I was never safe so I have help to seet up a few safe haven houses so young people can have somewhere safe to call home, a permanent home a place to go without worrying. So kids and young adults who are homeless, come from abusive homophobic house holds. So I and a amazing team of staff are hoping to set up more homes across America and Europe with proper funding to help those who need it.
L. Wow you sound very passionate about that.
A. Yea i am because I know that in the worst situations even the smallest things can make a world of different.
L. So what are you doing next in your career.
A. Well I have a album coming out soon which I am nearly done with all the little details. And I have quite a few filming projects coming up in the next few years.
L. Wow that's great when are you hoping to get the album out by.
A. I am hoping by the end November early December time fingers crossed.
L. So I looked you up and you have been in a lot of films and series haven't you.
A. I have I think people actually forget how many I have been in since I am still really young but I absolutely love all my projects.
L. Can you remember all the films and what age you where, I do have a list here and I want to see how many you rember.
A. Oh god this is going to be hard.
1st. Girl meets world at the age of 4. It was only ment to be for a few episodes to see how it when I ended up working with them till I was 9.
2nd. Maleficent as Aurora at the age of 4.
3rd. Jessie as the youngest sister at the age of 5.
4th. The bird box, young girl at the age of 5.
5th. Harry Potter and deathly hallows part 1 as bellateixs daughter at the age of 6.
6th. Twighlight breaking dawn part 1 as Renesmee at age 7.
7th. Andi mac andis little sister at age 8.
8th. Twighlight breaking dawn part 2 as Renesmee at age 9.
9th. Stranger things as Elevens older sister at age 10 until age 18.
10th. Cruella as young cruella at age 11.
11th. Supergirl as lenas little sister age 12.
12th. We brought a zoo as lilly at age 12.
13th. Decendents as Ben's little sister at age 13.
14th. Jurassic world as Claires daughter at age 14.
15th.Maleficent 2 as Aurora age 15.
16th. Cinderella at age 16.
17th. Frozen as anna at age 16.
And of course some where other multiple years.
L. Wow that's very impressive, who has been your favourite person to work with.
A. Oh no, you can't ask me that it's like asking me to pick between kittens or puppies.
L. Okay I will give you a example and you give me a cast member or two.
A. Okay I can do that.
L. How about Twighlight.
A. Auh that's a good one no one ever asks me about Twighlight. I would have to say Ashley Greene as we got on straight away and because Alice was sort of my gay awakening if you can call it that, and also Kristen Stewart as she was like my big sister on set even tho she played my mum.
L. Aww that sweet but what do you mean by Ashley Greene was your gay awakening.
A. Right so growing up I always thought girls on tv where cute like scarlett johansson or Demi Lovato but it never occurred to me I could like girls I just thought that was normal for everyone to do.
When I was 10 i was at a friends house and we watched Twighlight and she said something like 'jasper's so cute with his curly hair' and I with out thinking was like ' yea but Alice is so much cute' and she was like 'you shouldn't say things like that unless its about a boy daddy said its wrong, but mummy said it's okay to say it about girls if you like girls' and like that was the end of the conversation. I was so confused because I at the age of 10 was like people don't normally think what I think.
So it was sort of a eye opener because I just thought oh I am a kid I never realised it but I just sat a thought about it there was never a boy on tv or in real life that I like thought was cute or anything, so I was like okay yeah maybe, obviously I had heard about lgbt relationships but they never taught stuff like that at school so I did some research behind my parents back and work out who I was so.
L. That's sweet does Ashley know about it.
A. Now she does so.🤗🤷♀️ oh well.
L. Alright what about on Decendents.
A. Oh thats a hard one we where all so close I was closer to Dove, Cameron and Anna. Dove and Cameron where so sweet and carrying and always listened if I need to talk to anyone. And Anna was like a best friends.
L. You can tell by the backstage photos and bloopers you all had s blast on set.
A. Yea we did I miss it so much especially if not everyone on a cast get along it can cause a lot of tension between actors and we don't enjoy it as much.
L. Unfortunately that is all the time with have to day so thank you to Autumn for joining us and I huge thank you for watching see tou next time.
