When reading on Wattpad, I often find myself in the fan fiction section, looking for inspiration for my other rant books, The Problem With Fan Fiction and The Wattpad User Dictionary. This typically results in no shortage of grammar mistakes, especially the ones surrounding the use of quotation marks.
As it is fan fiction, I expect there to be dialogue, however the amount of cringe-worthy mistakes in these books is surreal. To date, I haven't found a single novel, aside from my own, that use commas if they are finishing the sentence after the closing of the quotation marks, or which don't use redundant commas after appropriate punctuation.
I'm not saying that I'm the only one on Wattpad to use correct quotation punctuation, but I am definitely one of the only to have learned.
