The beast trekked through the woods under the cover of darkness. But that darkness was soon fading with the rise of the morning sun.
The beast grumbled in annoyance. It needed to reach its destination before sunrise. Otherwise, whoever it was that was shooting it could find them in broad daylight.
Hunting them would be no problem for them, but the beast hadn't faced off against a hunter before. The monster needed to be one step ahead of them in order to strike.
The creature of the night made it to someone's backyard, and approached the back door. It clawed at the door like a cat or dog would, but its sharp claws made more visible claw marks than a household pet.
Not hearing a response, the beast growled in irritation, and barked before head butting the door. Not hard enough to break it, but hard enough to make some noise.
After head butting the door, the beast roared, and it finally heard some movement within the house.
A light turned on within the house, and the door opened to reveal a tired woman. Once she saw what was in front of the back door, her eyes widened like dinner plates.

Morning, Mystery Shack...
We cut back to the Mystery Shack, the Pines twins are currently investigating what happened to Wax Stan.
"Wax Stan has lost his head, and it's up to us to find it. On top of that, the monster that's been killing animals at night has revealed itself to be some kind of dinosaur. One mystery's been solved, but that mystery just leads to another." Dipper said.
"Maybe we should focus on this one first before moving on to the killer dinosaur." Mabel suggested.
"Right, right."
(A/n: The rest will just continue like the rest of the episode. I'll cut back to the twins when I feel like it's necessary.)

Maple household...
Terrance, woke up in his bedroom feeling more tired than last time. On top of that, he has a new pain in his left shoulder, and no shirt. He touched it with his right hand, he not only felt pain, he felt bandages, and gauze covering it.
He thinks back to what happened last night, and remembers the life threatening ordeal.
He was shot.
"Dammit." He grumbled to himself.
As he tried to sit up, he tried his best to not irritate his new wound. Thankfully he didn't irritate it too much.
Terrance also took note that he's thankfully still in his underwear, and pajama shorts.
*Growl*
His stomach growled quite noticeably.
Yep. He's hungry.
"Might as well eat breakfast." He said to himself.
He got up from his bed, and proceeded to head downstairs.
As soon as he gets downstairs for food, Terrance sees his mother sitting at the table waiting for him.
"Terrance. We need to talk about what happened last night." His mother said in a serious tone.
