The new apex predator of Gravity Falls had once again began its hunt in the cover of nightfall.
But what it was hunting for specifically, it honestly wasn't sure. Just anything that caught its interest, or whatever was worthy enough of its time to be considered prey.
As it ran through the woods, the beast stopped in its tracks, and let loose a cackling roar into the night to stir up possible prey.
Nothing made a sound in the night. No movement or anything. So it took off running to another part of the woods to try again.
It stopped and roared again.
...
...
Still nothing.
The beast tried sniffing in the air to pick up a scent of anything.
It picked up the scent of two humans and a car. Not interested. It's not in the mood for scaring people... despite how funny it is.
But that's when it picked up something it didn't like.
It REALLY didn't like it. In fact, it hated it.
The monster took off running towards the source of the scent, and wouldn't you know it, it's where the car and two humans were. The headlights were shining onto a thin humanoid creature with a deer skull and antlers for a head, and glowing red eyes.
It was a god damn wendigo.
The supernatural cannibal saw the beast, and turned around to run away. The beast leaped over the roof of the car, but crushed the hood with its weight, and gave chase.

The wendigo ran for its life, or afterlife, or whichever it is. The cannibalistic supernatural monster knew it was a top predator within its own right, but this thing that's chasing it? Screw that! It could sense how dangerous it really is. It's an animal thing.
It ran through the woods as it tried to outrun the monster chasing it. Huh. How ironic.
So this is what it's like to be prey.
The monster roared as it continued the chase. Whether it was catching up or not, it wasn't sure.
Taking a chance, the wendigo took one quick look back... and saw a pair of glowing yellow eyes, sharp teeth glistening in whatever moonlight that leaked in between the trees, and three long sharp claws on each hand.
The worst part?
...
...
... It was catching up.
The beast gave a screech as it ever so slowly picked up speed.

The monster swung its claws, slashing a large tree clean through as the wendigo ran past it. The tree fell to the ground with a thud.
Taking more than a glimmer of this tainted moonlight Death approaches on this night
The monster cackled once again.
For the animal's soul is mine We will be completed right before your eyes I have no control this time And now we both shall dine in Hell tonight
The wendigo ran through the maze of trees, hopping onto one tree trunk after another, and the monster slashed right through them like they were nothing.
I can feel the calling again The primal need is filling me Changes are about to begin And now my blood is boiling
I can see the fear in your eyes But you can't bring yourself to scream Time to shed the mortal disguise The beast is coming to life
The wendigo looked back to see that it was closer than before.
It couldn't outrun it.

The wendigo tripped on a tree root, and that's all it took to be eviscerated by the beast's claws in one slash.
The monster stood over the disemboweled body of the cannibalistic supernatural monster, a scowl present on its face.
Suddenly, more wendigos appeared all around the beast. All were angry, and vengeful for its fallen member.

It growled at them before charging at one of them with a roar. They didn't even have time to react as it began to tear them apart.

The beast roared loudly in its victory as dead mutilated bodies of wendigos lies around it, and its silhouette was cast in the moonlight.
