I couldn't believe who I saw standing before me! It was Rowland.
"Hey son are you going to just stare at me or are u going to shake my hand?"He said with a smirk on his face.
I reached my hand out to shake his.
"Aren't you Shyla's father?"
"How do you know Shyla?"
"She's my brother's girl."
"Deshun?"
"Yes Sir that's him."I said looking him in the face. I still don't know how that is Paige's father. But then I saw her mother come up.
She was a chocolate woman very dark skinned.
"Hi there." She said in a deep African accent.
Rowland likes black women. I was shocked.
Then I saw Paige coming down the stairs of the house smiling and opening her arms to give me a hug.
"Hey Braylon!" She said.
"Hey Paige." I said wrapping one arm around her waist as she hugged me.
"So are you going to just stand there outside?"Paige's mom asked me.
I smirked "Yeah I'll come in."
They had a foyer in the front of their home, it was very well put together.
Her mother had all the food ready for us to eat.
"Come sit and eat." She motioned me to come and eat at the table.
I looked at Paige and she smiled and walked towards the table with me.
I sat down like her mother asked me.
"So How is my other daughter doing?"Rowland asked me.
Paige looked at her father like what is he talking about.
"She is doing fine, she is something else."
"Why haven't you reached out to her lately?"I asked.
"I thought that after the test she wouldn't want to talk to me."
"Well, maybe you should talk to her about it."
"Yeah I will do that."
"Wait so Shyla is my sister?" She asked me and her father.
"Yes."Rowland said.
"Yep."I said.
"OH MY GOD! I have a sister!"
"Yeah a crazy one at that."
"She's just like her mother."Rowland said.
Paiges' mom walked in the dinning room.
"Eat son."She said to me.
Paige passed the food to me. They acted like they were rich which I think they were.
"So I saw you and Paige at the game together that day. I thought you two were just so cute." Her mom said to me.
"Well thank you, I thought so too. If I didn't I wouldn't be here today."I said trying to sound like a gentlemen.
"We are no anything right now, just friends."Paige assured her mother.
I just looked at her like thats what you think just wait till we get to hawaii.
I looked down at my phone and I got a text message from Shyla asking how it was going. I thought about what I should say but, it hadn't came to me just yet.
