I hummed an unknown tune, deep in thoughts as I decorated the front yard. I was now fully in my element. The thing about decorating is the fun behind it and the outcome. I loved to see what the house would look after I'm done. The unfunny thing about decorating....would probably be cleaning all of it up again. It always seems like there goes more back into the box than there originally was at the beginning. It was weird, but we'll worry about it later. My eyes shift for a split second to my boyfriend, who was struggling with the spiderweb.
"Need help?" , I questioned laughing as he cursed under his breath.
"Thanks my love, but I'm a big and most importantly strong man! I can handle this!" , he smugly declared with a grin.
"Oh okay, well I'll just watch you fail your mission!" , I answer smiling as well and leand against the fence next to me, crossing my arms over my chest.
Anthony huffed as his attention went back to the decoration. He filled with the web, pulling it all the direction he could, he even used his teeth to pull it apart. It was hilarious to watch, it really was. Eventually he threw the whole thing to the ground and crossed his arms over his chest like a child.
"I ain't doing this no more!" , he says frustrated.
I begin to laugh, which woke the attention of my lover who in return began to smirk.
"You laughing at me? How about you do it then, you'll see that it is impossible to solve!" He chucked the decoration my way.
"Alright, I will!" I got down and picked it up. I begin to infidel the knots right away.
"Hah! You'll fail just like-" , but before he could finish his sentence, he saw that I already finished it. His mouth hung wide.
"Impossible!" , he calls out as he approached me and snatched the web away, examining it from all perspectives.
"Told you, it's easy."
He raises an eyebrow at me, his smirk returning right away.
"Oh? Is that so?" , he questioned throwing the web over some over decoration.
"Yup!" What I didn't know though was that my smugness would be the end of me. I suddenly got thrown over the shoulder of my boyfriend, who began to carry me back into the house.
I begin to struggle, yet it was no use. Anthony has an iron grip on me, especially when it comes to me."Let me down!" , I began to protest, hitting his back and kicking my feet, though he only chuckles darkly in return.
"I don't think so my love, I have other plans for a woman like yourself...~" , he purrs out and opened the front door.
"Anthony!!!!!!" , I cry out laughing, though I had to admit that I loved that side of him.
He was about to close the door, but suddenly stops right on spot. It seems like he was frozen, which gave me the opportunity to jump from his shoulders. I cry out in victory, but then saw his concerned expression.
"Babe, what's wrong?" , I ask worried about his sudden change of behavior. He didn't respond though and so I followed his gaze, till my eyes landed on a man who just pulled up with his car not to long ago. He's watching us behind some weird looking mask.
"Who's that?", I questioned my boyfriend in barely a whisper, taking his hand and slowly got behind him. He in return covers my body with his arm, shielding me from the menacing glare of the creepy dude.
"I'm not sure, but he's giving me weird vibes", Anthony answers unsure and pulled me even closer to him in a worried way. My eyes shift from my boyfriend to the man in the car again. It was as if he was watching only me, which is probably just my head playing tricks on me. The man glances towards the arm that pressed me against the side of my boyfriend and I could have sworn how the grip on the wheel tighten in anger. Either that or he was afraid? His hand was shaking quickly, it could have been caused by anything really.
"Buddy?! Where are you staring at, huh?!" , Anthony suddenly calls out with gritted teeth and walks down the stairs again, approaching the man. I quickly followed, trying to pull him back.
"Comon Anthony! Let's just get inside!" , I pleaded, but knowing my boyfriend he is way to stoic.
"Got a staring problem, bud'?!" , he questioned furiously and stops a few feet away. Just then I had the opportunity to take a better glance at the man. He was wearing a white William Shatner mask, which was a bit torn already though send unpleasant vibes. I began to question and wonder why the mask looked that way. It was untypical to find such mask here in Haddonfield. We had lots of mask, don't get me wrong and you can find many costumes, but this one was weird in its own way. It had some blood and huge scars. I've never seen this mask.
"Why are you staring at her like that!", my boyfriend calls out, pulling me out of my thoughts and that's when I began to notice that the creepy man was infact staring right at me. I shriek back, though he follows me with his cold orbs. Something was odd about the way he was staring at me, and whats even weird about this situation is the fact that he reminded me of someone. But I couldn't tell why. "Hey! Buddy! Find your own girlfriend, would you?! It's unpolite to stare!"
"Let's just go..." , I mumbled and tugged on the shirt. Anthony glanced down at me and then nods.
"Okay, if that makes you feel better..." he declares but then got cut off as the weird man pulled down the window slowly. His eyes were still on me as he did so, but then reached down to something that he had on the seat next to him. A rose reveals itself as he lifts his hands. A white rose with red dots scattered around it. He threw it my way, which I caught with ease. I examined it for a split second. I had questions, so many questions and yet there was no time to ask, because the man already drove off.
