It was the October the 30th and like any other kid in town I was getting more and more excited for Halloween. The costume I wanted to wear, was still left undecided. I didn't want to wear these cliche costumes, those who were chosen by others every year. I wanted something individual, something that would make me a special little monster.

My eyes scanned the choice of costumes as I walked into the store with my dear mother next to me. She was a person who still enjoyed those joyful moments on Halloween and even bought some costumes for her own each year. You could tell that she was living the Halloween spirit even after all those years, which was pretty cool in my opinion. Our house had one of the best decoration in this town, since she always bought thaaaat much of decorations.

"Ok hun, choose your costume while I go look for mine, yea?" My mother asked me as her eyes soften at sight of me. Excited I nodded my head and instantly went for the costume erea with the most terrifying creatures. There were all sorts of clown masks, zombies...The classics like always. I searched for one specific costume though, something that would make the kids terrified of me. That's when I found a (costume of your choice).

I looked at it with awe and took it out. It looked so cool! This costume was definitely not used often here and this will surely make the kids terrified of me. I walked proudly with the costume in my hand to my mother who seems to waited for me already. She got herself a witch costume, one of the classic category when you think about Halloween. She always wore those kind of costumes, because last year she was dressed as a vampire.

"You found what you were looking for?" A man asked as he walked behind the counter and put on a friendly smile.

"Yes, we'd like those costumes." My mother asked as she got her purse out. I didn't care for the conversation, like every other kid i drifted to my mind. My eyes slowly looked through every window that this market possessed and that's when my eyes landed on a insecure boy. The familiar dirty blonde hair was making it way too easy to identify. It was of course Michael Myers.

His dirty blond hair was covering his face as his little fingers touched various fabrics of the costumes outside the store. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of him. He looked adorable. His face slowly lifted up and his eyes met mine. A small friendly wave was the first thing I send to him as soon as he looked up and I could swear that he smiled for a second.

{~Michael POV ~}

Halloween was tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. It was my favorite time of the year, getting free candy while you're in a hilarious costume. You were getting paid with candy just so you walk around the night with a costume. I didn't mind that fact, not in the slightest. Who would decline all the sweets you could receive at one single house? You didn't even have to pay for it, it's a win/win situation.

Like every year I tried to find a good costume. Since I'm low on money though I couldn't find any suitable costumes that I actually enjoyed. I wasn't greedy, I was rather thankful. Thankful for all that I had. I knew that my mother didn't have the best job and that it was one of the reasons I was getting bullied at school, but the love I received of her was more than enough.

Those pigs will get their punishment soon enough, I know they will. Even if I had to push karma slightly just to see them in pain, it would be something I would do. The whole class in fact was on my list, every single one of them. They all would receive the pain they deserve. Except (Y/n).

I don't know why or how she found me interesting or appealing in any way to talk to me at school, but she still does. She walkes by, smiles and would ask me how I was doing before she followed that damn Weasel boy. God I hate him. I hate him more with each day that passes, but the hatred towards him turned into something much darker.

He had pictures of my mother, I don't know how or why he had them but he said that he would show it to every single kid in school. I knew that this couldn't happen. It would be found food for all these backstabbers in school, all those gossips would turn into something much worse and the whole town would know about my mother...or more like what she looked like underneath her thin clothes she wears for work.

I planned something. Something big. This is another reason why I stood in this shop now. I needed a mask for my act, no one should recognise me. This act would be quick and I hoped that I could finally feel somehow a little peacefuler after that. Damn, I knew I would definitely live peacefuler. My hands touches all the fabric that came to hand, I just loved the feeling of it. This was a ritual for every Halloween celebration when I bought a little costume.

The weird feeling of being watched was starting to intensify, that's why I slowly lifted my head and that's when I met a pair of (e/c) eyes not to far away from me. The softness that came out of them was driving me just crazy. How I wished that she would notice me, just the way I notice her. I would follow her with my eyes, my mind would be in a dream state and my huge blush would rat out the fact that I had a huge crush on (Y/n) (L/n). I mean who doesn't? She's everything a boy could dream of.

I love her geeky side, how she would talk about movies in such awe. Especially (genre) movies. When she talked about those you could practically see the adoration behind those sparkling eyes. Those eyes never shot out the same adoration when she was talking to me, oh how I wished they would. Even now here in the store she just smiled. A small wave with her hands was what she gave me and I gave her one in return. That's all I needed, those simple gestures.

I could feel my cheeks heating up, the fact that I could embarrass myself in front of her was something I couldn't allow. I put the nearest best mask on to cover my blush. She laughed and looked away. That laugh made my heart beat painfully against my chest, I wanted to hear it again, but before I could cause anything she left with her mother. Her eyes looked at me while she walked out and as she passed me a quiet 'bye Mikey' was heared. She gave me a nickname??

I wanted to dance, this joyful feeling wanted to get out. (Y/n) (L/n) gave me Michael Aundrey Myers a nickname! I put of the mask and analysed it. It was a simple yet terrifying clown mask. A small smile crept on my face as I rubbed against the plastic cheek. This mask was perfect and this mask caused my beloved to laugh. It was simply perfect.

Thank you (Y/n).
