Chapter 1

NATALIE'S POV

I woke up to a banging on my door, it was my sister, Marie.

"Nat get up you need to get ready we're going to meet Nash and Hayes at the mall today!"

I sigh and got up, I walk into the bathroom and get scared at what I look like.

I went to the bathroom and went back into my room, I walked over to the closet and picked out my outfit. Galaxy crop top, and white shorts.

I'm going to the mall so I guess I should look presentable, right? Plus Hayes will be there, so I need to.

Marie and Nash have been Dating for 3 years now, so I get dragged everywhere with her. Hayes is always there so me and him got very close over the years.

Me and the Griers have been neighbors since me and Hayes were just 4 years old. Me and him hated each other until Nash and Marie got together. Me and Hayes are both 16. We've grown onto each other.

Me and Hayes go to the same school and I act like I don't like him but I have the biggest crush on him, he has so freaking clue though.

I go in my room and text Hayes.

"Hey, I'm about to leave to the mall, you're gunna be there right?"

Hayes- "yeah I'm going, see you there (:"

MARIE'S POV

What the hell, when is Nat going to be ready we need to leave in 10 minutes.

"NAT HURRY UP."

"OKAY MY GOD." Nat said.

She takes forever. Nash is going to be so mad if he has so wait.

NATALIE'S POV

I walk downstairs and grab $50 and as we are walking out I see Hayes, funny we are leaving at the same time.

"Marie can't we just drive with them?"

"What ever, sure."

"NASH! We are Going to just drive with you okay?"

"Alright I guess..?" Nash says.

I get in the back, and I sit next to Hayes. My god, I love his eyes, his smile, his cute nose, ugh. Snap out of it dude. Okay. Focus.

•At the mall•

Me and Hayes are just walking behind Marie and Nash. Their being all romantic and crap. It's a little awkward seeing as though Hayes keeps starring at me.

We walk by a Starbucks and I pull Marie and everyone follows. I got my usual, vanilla bean frap with two pumps of peppermint Carmel syrup and whip cream with caramel drizzle.

They got whatever they were getting and we just walked around the mall for a little bit.

Nash and Hayes went into Journeys, and Marie and I went into Pink!

We got a 2 jackets each and some leggings. I'm always wearing legging too.

We left the mall and they dropped us off at home. It was Sunday night so I was in the middle of doing my homework when my phone started ringing. I was walking over to my phone and I seen it was Hayes, so I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Nat?"

"Yeah?"

"Tomorrow after school do you and Marie want to come over?"

"Uh sure, I'll go tell her."

"Okay see you at school.

"Bye Hayes."

"Bye Nat."

I went downstairs and I seen my mom.

"Mom where's Marie?"

"In her room, why are you okay?"

"Yeah, haha, just looking for her."

I walked to her room and opened her door and told her that we're going to their house after school. She just said okay.

I went back to my room and finished my homework, it was hard because I had butterflies in my stomach because Hayes called me.

I sat on my bed and I facetimed my best friend Payton.

*Ding Ding- Ding Ding*

She answered.

"Hey what's up?"

"Nothing, I'm hanging with Hayes tomorrow after school, and I was wondering if you'd be able to come?"

"No, man, I'm sorry, I have to study."

"Eh, alright. I'm gonna crash."

"Alright bye Nat love you."

"Love you too Payton"

I was thinking about tomorrow, when sleep took over.
