"Lets go have a little chat hmm?" Rindou said softly grabbing  your hand and pulling you over to the table Ran was at.

"No no no I don't want to talk to him." You protested shaking your head.

"Well too late sweetie." Rindou smirked as he brought you to the side of the table pulling out a chair next to him for you.

      You hesitantly sat down looking at your fingers as you picked at your nails. Rindou sat down next to you with a small sigh eyeing both you and Ran. No one spoke a word. You didn't know if it was out of shock or no one really knew what to say. Rindou cleared his throat before finally speaking up.

"So hows it going kids?" Rindou asked.

You looked at Rindou with a clear scowl on your face.

"I'm older than you Rindou." Ran spoke.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, anyways, what are you doing here Ran?" Rindou asked.

     Ran knew. He knew that his lie or excuse, whatever you want to call it, had crossed the both of you the second the pair of you walked in. His original idea was to ignore both of you for the day. Staying away from Rindou so he'd think he was with you, and staying away from you so you'd think he was with Rindou. Yet somehow here the three of you were.

     You couldn't look at Ran. He never lied to you and yet this one lie made you wonder if every time he said he had a 'gang related activity' was that just another lie? You didn't know, and you weren't sure you wanted to know. Ran continued to take small and short glances at you, almost like he could tell what you were thinking. It made you uncomfortable, so you scooted closer to Rindou, making Ran visibly upset.

"I want to go." You whispered into Rindou's ear.

     Rindou simply looked down at you before returning his attention back to Ran, still, no one spoke a word. Just three people sitting at a table in the middle of a diner in complete silence. You didn't understand what Rindou's plan was, he clearly knew Ran was gonna be here, why bring you along too? At this point Ran has stopped his small glances and is now just staring at you like he was trying to burn a hole through your soul.

"Rindou please I'm really uncomfortable, I just want to leave." You pleaded whispering into his ear again. "Can't we just work this out some-"

"(Y/N) isn't it rude to tell secrets in front of your boyfriend?" Ran spoke.

"Huh?" You questioned in return.

"You're over there whispering whatever you are, to my little brother like I'm not here. It's honestly rather rude." Ran spoke very matter-of-factly.

You sat back almost stunned at what he just said. 'Its rather rude'.  Like him lying isn't as horrible as you whispering something to his brother. You folded your arms over your chest and scoffed at his statement.

"I'm being rude? Seriously?" You exclaimed.

"I'm sorry but it is rude. Theres a third party sitting right in front of you and yet you're whispering like I don't exist. Whats so secretive that you couldn't say it aloud? Hmm?"

"You wanna know what I said? I said that you're staring was making me uncomfortable, and that I wanted to leave. Thats all I said but I figured that would be rude to say when you're sitting right there." You spoke pushing your chair back and standing up.

"Wait, where are you going?" Rindou asked turning around in his chair.

"I'm leaving. I have nothing to say to him and you're real funny if you think I'm gonna sit there and 'hear him out'. Goodbye Rindou, maybe I'll see you around sometime. Ran, don't call me anymore and don't come by anymore. " You said walking out of the restaurant.

     Ran and Rindou watched as your frame passed by the restaurant windows. You looked in one last time as tears dripped down your face. You really did love Ran and something deep down was telling you to go back inside but you chose to ignore it and continued walking. Ran and Rindou saw your face and both knew you were crying and yet they both just sat there.

"Did I just lose the love of my life Rindou?"

"The what?!" Rindou exclaimed back.

     Ran just sat there at the table not wanting to repeat himself to his brother. He loved you, he really did but at times he didn't know how to handle your relationship and the gang. He wanted to be with you, but he would be lying if he said he didn't fear about your safety. Being in a gang, and dating a gang member, especially someone as known as Ran, wasn't a completely safe thing to do. He always wanted to keep you safe but he feared there would possibly be a time when he couldn't. 

"Who was it?" Rindou asked.

"Huh?" Ran asked confused.

"Who were you with today? She's not here so you can tell me. I promise I won't say anything."

"I'm still confused Rindou."

"You told me you'd be with her all day. She told me you'd be with me all day. Both those stories were lies. You were with someone today, who was it? Whats her name?"

Ran's eyes grew wide.

"Does she think I was spending time with another women?" Ran asked baffled.

"Were you not?" Rindou asked growing annoyed by his older brothers stupid question.

"NO! We- I had a meeting today and I didn't think you needed to be there. Maybe I lied to you but I didn't lie to her. I told her that I was late for something gang related and I was." Ran explained.

Rindou just stared at his older brother.

"You know you could've just said you didn't want me there and it could've prevented your breakup." Rindou said rolling his eyes.

"We- we didn't breakup." Ran said looking at Rindou.

"Dude, she told you not to call her and to basically stop seeing her. Thats a breakup Ran."

"But... I love her. She loves me. We love each other." Ran said still staring at Rindou.

"Then if I were in your shoes and my, as you called her, 'love of my life' walked out, I'd be running after her, not sitting still talking to my brother." Rindou spoke.

     Ran stood up and grabbed his jacket off the back of his chair before running out of the restaurant. Rindou turned around to see Ran's body flashing pass the windows before disappearing in the direction you walked in moments ago. Rindou got up as well and decided to follow Ran knowing he'd catch you at either the park or your house. Rindou couldn't help but smile to himself at how much his older brother really does love you.
