Chapter 22: The Day After

Tia's POV

My eyes fluttered open as the rays of the rising sun shone upon my face, waking me from my peaceful rest. My eyes took a moment to adjust to all the light since it was blanketed in darkness for so long. I was trying to process my surroundings when my eyes landed on the cream colored walls then the huge bay window covered by thin white drapes before landing on Daniel's well sculpted caramel cheekbones and plump pink lips that were slightly parted as he slept. My eyes scanned over his face moving down to his bare chest before landing on the thin white sheets covering our bodies. As I snuggled closer to his body, if that was even possible since I was already laying on his right arm while his left was draped around my waist like my leg was around his torso. I couldn't help but replay the events of yesterday. The whole day was perfect and better than I could ever imagine. I had to pinch myself a few times just to make sure that it was all true and I wasn't dreaming but it was real and it was amazing. Then the images of last night flashed before my eyes, the night I lost my virginity to the man I loved, the man of my dreams, the man I knew loved me and wouldn't dare hurt me-- not like Andrew did. Everything escalated in just a few short seconds. Our heated make out session turned into a full out love fest.

I felt like putty in Danny's hands from each gentle touch he placed on my body, causing that area to burn up with lust and desire, he took his time with me, gently breaking me in and even though it hurt like hell for the majority of the time his gently touch was key to sending me to another planet. Once all that pain turned to pleasure no one could stop me after. I don't know what came over me or even possessed me to get up on him and ride him like a cowboy- well cowgirl in my case, does racing of into the sunset at the end of a good country& western movie. I was in so much pain but then I felt like I was in nirvana high off of Daniel.

I was startled from my thoughts by the smooth movement of Danny's hand through my now matted hair since all my curls got sweated out last night. I hurriedly closed my eyes since I was a little bit embarrassed just by the thought of last night.

"I know you're awake." I heard Daniel say. His voice was much huskier, raspy even. I tried to fake snore but failed miserably when it came out sounding more like a snort and just as soon as it came out and we both started laughing.

My eyes shot up to meet his joyful orbs.

" Hey." He greeted me as we came down from our laughter. We stared off into each others eyes as he caressed my cheek.

"Hey." I blushed hiding my face in his side. He let out a slight chuckle before saying anything else.

"Why you hiding?"

"Because we-." I mumbled against the skin of his side, muffling my words and making them barely even audible.

"Speak babe, I can't hear you plus that tickles." He said rolling of his back and unto his side, the same side that I used to shield my face. He lifted the upper half of my body unto his chest.

"I said...I can't believe that we did it." I whispered the last part still embarrassed.

"Yeah me either." He replied almost instantly before staring off into space almost like he was replaying the images from last night, much like what I was doing earlier.

I decided to take this time to go take a bath and get ready for the day. I was just about to fling the sheet back and get up but then it occurred to me that I was still naked since a certain some decided to continue where we left off at four in the morning.

"Where are you going?" Danny asked as I got off the bed taking the covers with me.

"To take a bath." I replied shaking each legs since they felt a little weird, they felt like jelly. Daniel just shot me a knowing glare, almost like I knew what he was thinking.
