"You're not gonna get that?" Malik snarled.

"No..." I exasperated before hitting  ignore.

Ever since Daniel's little speech last night at the BET Awards my phone has been blowing up. Non-stop! I've had people calling me from different media outlets asking me for the scoop or a response so they could have a leading story. I've had my friends and even people who I don't even consider  as friends calling to hear what's up between Daniel and I and worst of all Daniel's been calling non stop too. Malik was probably annoyed by the constant ringing and buzzing of my phone and the fact that he knew that it some how had something to do with last night. Saying that Malik wasn't fond of Daniel was an understatement.

"Alright. Um, I've got to get to work," he placed his coffee cup down, "You'll be alright here all by yourself today?" He asked before pecking my cheek.

"I'm always here by myself and I'm always OK aren't I?" I chuckled.

"Yeah. You're right.  I'll be home early today; I have a surprise for you."

"Malik you know I don't like surprises."

"I know, I know but you're gonna love this one." He winked at me.

"What makes you think that?"

"Correction; not think, know." He smirked.

"You need to get to work." I laughed as I gave him a playful push towards the door.

"Mhmk I will. As soon as I get my goodbye kiss." He cheesed.

"Okay...okay here," I pecked his cheek, " satisfied?"

"Wait let me think." He tapped his finger against his well defined jawline.

"Goodbye Malik."

"Okay okay I'm going," He grabbed his key, "see you later." He said finally leaving. He's such a trip sometimes.

Now that Malik is gone I can straighten up a few things around here then get ready for today. I don't have any plans per say since school's out and I'm off from work today. I just want to dress up and get out off the house for awhile.

A few hours later I was dressed and ready to go. I grabbed my keys and pocket book before pulling the door open. To my surprise, there stood a nervous looking Daniel getting ready to knock on my door!

Almost instantly a mix off emotions washed over me. I went from surprised to shocked real quick.

"Hey." Daniel said.

"Hi." I replied awkwardly. There was a dead silence between us as our eyes wondered everywhere except on each other.

"Where are my keys?" I sighed; finally tired of the piercing silence between us. I had places to be and if this is all Daniel's going to do then I'd honestly prefer being somewhere else since this was obviously a waste of time.
