Brian's POV
(California)
I came home from school when.
"Bri!" Mom called out
"Yeah?"
"Come here for a second"
"Your father and I were talking, we both got a job in LA and so we're kinda moving there"
"What! both of you, really?"
"Yeah you know, its the business. They need us there. We're leaving in two days" she said
"Wow mom thats quick"
"I know but they really need u there"
"Where are we staying then?"
"Im still on it but you have to start packing now" she said
"Ok mom"
I went to my room and did what she told me to do.
My phone rang. It was my best friend Zack.
"Hey Man, whats up?" I said answering the phone
"You up for Cindy's party later?"
"Since when did I go to one of Cindy's parties? Besides I have to start packing"
Cindy's my ex. It was a bad relationship but up until now she still thinks we're dating. She is one of those girls that are nice at first, then mean at the end.
What I like in a girl is that, she has to be funny and clumsy at the same time. I find that cute.
"Packing?! for what?"
"Well the folks and I are moving to LA"
"What!!! when were you planning to tell me man!?"
Zack and I have been friends since I was 4 he was a part of this play date my mom used to take me to, but we weren't that close before. You see I had this best friend that I was so close with. Her names Samantha, Samantha East. We were bestfriends for like 6 years but she moved to LA and I havent heard from her ever since.
"Earth to Brian?! Earth to Brian!?" Zack said still on the phone
"Sorry man, I just found out too. We're leaving in two days"
"What! Thats quick"
"Yeah I know"
"Then you should go to the party later then. It is your last party here."
"Yeah I guess so"
"Good!" he said hanging up
At the party..
"There he is!!!" Zack said
"Hey man"
" You really sure you got yo go?"
"Yeah"
"Well then let the party begin!!!" he shouted and everyone cheered.
It was almost 12 so I had to go home already. I said my goodbyes to everyone then I was abou to leave when.
"What's this I hear about you moving out?" Cindy said popping out of nowhere
"Its none of your business" I said irritated
"Oh come on, I know you still want to get back together with me"
Hahaha I laughed
"Are you kidding me? thats the last thing I want to do!"
Then without hesitating I went out of her house, slammed the door shut and went home.
That girl gets on my nerves!!
