Everything was hazy, but there were a few words that stood out, and they were Su Hyeok's. He held the smaller boy's hands close to him as the fireworks went out in the sky, saying,

"You're beautiful, Cheong San."

Cheong San could feel himself flustered from the compliment, but only for his eyes to roll unto his back, him finally collapsing into an inevitable sleep.

"O-oi, Cheong San?, Ah crap, Cheong San?"  Su Hyeok reached his peak before collapsing, and now that he's on the ground, he touches his cheeks to feel the immense warmth.

The answer was as clear as day; He was having a fever. Su Hyeok felt he was to blame, so he gently takes him up and carries him on his back. The sun had already fallen when Cheong San wrapped his hands around him, and the moon was finally visible.

Could have been lovely to witness the stars with Cheong San, and later commenting how the moon looked beautiful.

"Ah, no time to think of that-" Su Hyeok snapped out of his reverie almost instantly and makes their way to Cheong San's family restaurant. It was the closest place that Su Hyeok could bring him; he doesn't, evidently have a clue on where Cheong San lived anyways.

When they arrived, Su Hyeok knocked the glass door a couple of times; having difficulty into opening them as his hands were already carrying Cheong San.

Mrs. Lee, who was busy wiping the counter when Su Hyeok's knocks were heard, eventually notices the boy and her son that he was carrying.

"Oh my-Cheong San!" Mrs. Lee immediately realized and opens the door, lifting Cheong San's other arm for support, lifting his other arm for support and bringing him to one of the sofa-like seats, his feverish body already evident. "My, You're warm..What in the world happened Cheong?" She says as she places her rough hands, exhausted from the day's work, by that touch, she had already made a conclusion that he was having a high fever.

Her attention drifts back to Su Hyeok, who was panting heavily as he sat on one the chairs that were unoccupied, the ambiance of the empty restaurant brings a somewhat peaceful sentiment between the three of them; is it just me? Su Hyeok murmured "Or it feels really lonely."

"Thank you for bringing him home, Su Hyeok-gun", She says as she slightly bows her head in gratitude.

"Ah, it's no problem Mrs. Lee, I-uhm, really, it's my fault, I invited him over some festival after all" Su Hyeok apologized, bowing his head as well, though it wasn't really the festival; it might be from the rain, a hypothesis of his, recalling the events that happened earlier.

Mrs. Lee frantically dialed her husband's number, and he arrived minutes afterwards, carrying his son back to their apartment complex. She stayed at the resto, occupying the vacant space, staring at the boy, it was as if she had already seen his face; knowing his name...but something else was quite familiar. A lightbulb blazed brighter on her discoveries after a rush of thought.

"Say, Su Hyeok, you are the child of Lee Sun Jung, yes?"

(omggausadhksdjs i just randomly thought of that name)

"O-oh, yes, she is my mother, do you know her? Does Mom know you, Mrs. Lee?"

"Well, she is my colleague after all! How come I didn't know you were her son? Geez! Time really flies fast."  Su Hyeok smiled at the response, it turns out that both of their mothers know each other; quite good enough.
