4 Months later.
Leah and King are seated in the cabin talking, with a bottle of wine opened, placed in the middle of them.
"bring your hands, bring your hands, let me do a psychic reading for you" Leah said.
"please" King said, dismissing her.
"I would have you know I took a three month's psychic crash course on one of my stops in New York, I'm good okay" Leah said. Not wanting to argue with her and further elongate this, King stretches his hand and she takes it into hers. She hums for a while before she speaks.
"I see. You have a very close friend, it's either T, D or J and then... you are gay" Leah said.
"okay, let me put you out of your misery before you start making some stupid rhymes" King said and Leah laughed. "T and I are closer, we've been friends since we were kids. Along the line we met D, then J" King said.
"Age?" Leah asked.
"J is the youngest and T is the oldest" King asked.
"T? Then why are you his boss?" Leah asked.
"because being King is not about age, it's enthronement" King said. Leah laughed and shook her head. They stay quiet for a while before she speaks up again.
"okay, I'm getting tired of this. We've been on sea for about four months now. And I know we get to go to land from time to time and chill, shop..." Leah said then trailed off.
"you love that shopping part. So you go just dey do those girls dirty" King said.
"it's not my fault, they started it. You know that anytime I go to that mall and they see me, they always greet me, like they show me some maximum respect" Leah said with a smile.
"I know say na that kind thin wey dey sweet you" King said.
"can't blame me for being a boss. I was born that way" Leah said.
"you are spoilt" King said.
"no, I'm entitled, there's a difference" Leah said causing King to scoff.
"really? Please, enlighten me" King said, amused by her statement and interested in knowing what she was going to say to defend this. Leah clears throat and uses a chirpy voice to speak.
"oh gosh, you just stepped on me! You just stepped on my $400,000 red bottom heel designer shoes, how dare you!" that's spoilt" Leah said. She pauses then speaks with her normal voice. "do you know who I am, my father could have you arrested so fast you wouldn't realize what has happened till you are in a prison cell serving a life sentence", that's entitled. The difference is one is rude with serious attitude problems and the other just forgets that not everyone has everything handed to them on a platter of gold" Leah said.
"yeah, you just described yourself in two ways" King said which led to Leah hitting him playfully on his chest.
"I hate you. But four months though. Man, I need some permanent land time" Leah said, truly a bit exhausted and tired of the cruise. Not that it wasn't a nice time, with King and the sea and all, she would just prefer to be on land now.
"why, you are already tired of me? It's supposed to be the other way round" King said.
"I know right. Look, one thing is for sure, I will not be going on any sea trips after this. I mean what's with that Baba Sege guy sef, doesn't he get tired, what is he still looking for" Leah complained.
"evil never sleeps" King said.
"tell me about it" Leah said. She drew closer and laid her head in King's laps.
