"Alright Chris, they're ready for you." Roxanne fixes Chris' mic onto his navy tshirt, "you good?" She offers him an encouraging smile.
"Yeah yeah, remind me again why I'm doing this?" Chris laughs nervously as he's handed a beer by one of the runners.
Roxanne clicks her fingers at the make up team pointing to the shine forming on his T zone, "beeecause you're a good guy doing a good thing for your charity."
He nods, "right right. God I'm sweating." He fluffs his shirt.
"Deodorant!!" She shouts to the makeup team again.

"Hey guys its Lacey," the gorgeous blonde interviewer waves towards the camera, "I'm here with Chris Evans!" she shrugs her shoulders smiling and giggling playfully at him.
He picks the label on the bottle of his stella artois he simpers towards the camera adjusting his baseball cap.
"Hi Chris!!" Lacey dances in her seat excitedly, her bubbly personality easing Chris' anxiety as she nudges him.
Taking a gulp of his beer Chris looks at Lacey, "hehe Hi guys, Hi Lacey..." he waves his beer awkwardly, desperately wishing for the dutch courage to set in.
Lacey winks at Chris, her pearly white teeth gleam through her perfect smile, "excited?" She tucks a lock of blonde hair behind her ear.
"I'm here with Chris to announce the winner of the..." Lacey shimmies in her seat in anticipation, "win a date with Chris Evans competition!!"
Her green eyes flicker at Chris, he can't help be intimidated by her beauty, but also by her confidence. He's just not feeling it today.
"So these raffles were sold in aid of a wonderful charity Christophers Haven."
Chris zoned out a little subconsciously smiling and nodding, but in actual fact he was a million miles away. Lacey told the world about the wonderful things the charity done, and that they had raised over $1.5million for it.
"Drumroll please!!" Lacey raps her hands in her lap bringing Chris out of his daze.
He looks across at his publicist Roxanne who is gesturing behind the cameras reminding him to smile.
He understand that this is all for a good cause, but he'd had a few drinks when he agreed to it and now he was a little full of regret.
"How do you feel Chris?" She dances along side the name generator,
Chris downs his beer, "a little nervous actually." He lets a burp exhale through his nose trying to disguise it, because if he belches on live TV Roxanne will wear his balls as a necklace. Not all press is good press.
The generator winds down.
The whirr of names slows and they become more legible.
Chris' heart begins to thump into his chest, the reality of the situation setting in.
He smiles through it, rubbing his beard and laughing anxiously along side Lacey.
"And our winner is..." she gasps, "oh wow!!"
Lacey claps almost seal like, "congratulations Jaime Collins from Iowa!"
Chris stares at the name on the screen, Jaime Collins, 30 Iowa.
At least its not some screaming late teens early twenty year old fan.
Wait...maybe it'll be worse.
Roxanne clicks her fingers above the camera catching Chris' eye, "what're you doing?!" She mouths her eyes wide with exasperation.
Chris inhales deeply, time to go to work pal.
Almost instantly he claps his hands together and paints a wide smile across his face, Roxanne breathes a loud sigh of relief, as does Lacey.
"Congratulations Jaime! I cant wait to me you." He licks his lips, "we'll have a great time." Lacey pats his knee encouragingly, "we're gonna go to the premiere of my new movie Avengers Infinity War."
Lacey laughs loudly, "sounds great!"
She slaps Chris' shoulder, "I'm a little jealous actually." A flirtatious expression radiates on her face.
Roxanne rolls her eyes sarcastically at Chris, he knows that look. No after interview drinks with Lacey then.
"Well I guess I'll pick you up Jaime! See you then." He holds his beer up to the camera, flashes his winning smile and winks.

"And cut!" The producer shouts.
Chris gives Lacey a quick hug, "thanks so much, I'll see you around no doubt!"
He saunters towards Roxanne, "how was that?"
She shakes her head laughing at his little anxious quirks, "could've been worse."
She knows its totally out of Chris' comfort zone but theres no backing out of a charity event. Not if you wanna maintain your reputation of being the 'good guy'.
She walks Chris to his car, "I know its out of your comfort zone Evans, but its doing wonders for your brand."
Chris scoffs, "pft my brand?  I fucking hate that word."
The driver waits patiently for instructions, "Just back home please."
"You got it Mr Evans." He starts the car, putting on the radio helping Chris drown out the noise in his brain.
"Gus I told you a thousand times, call me Chris. We've been doing this for 8 years."
