"Hamza mat jao na yaar." Zoya cries as she sits on the bed alongside him. "Tum bhi samjho na yaar." "Achha waapis kab aaoge?" "Jab tumhari shaadi hogi shayad tab." "Shayad? Tum mere bhai nahi ho." "Ek baat bolu Zoya, tumhari Rumi ne mujhe andar se khaali kar diya hai. Ab main woh insan hun hi nahi. Pata nahi waapis aa bhi sakunga yaa nahi. Mujhse nahi dekha jayega usko kisi aur ke saath tum jaanti ho mujhe." "Woh tumhari mohabbat hai Hamza, aur hum sab tumhari family. Mohabbat ke liye apni family ko aur apne aap ko khud se naraaz mat karo, kahin aisa na ho mohabbat hi tumse naraaz ho jaye."
Hamza looks at Zoya, and realizes how his sister has grown up. She was once the most annoying person, and now she is saying all these wise words to her brother who she looked up to. He wishes her future husband to be nothing like himself. He prays in his thoughts, "Hey mere Allah, mere gunaahon ki sazaa meri behen ko mat dena chaahe mujhe zindagi bhar apni galatiyon ki sazaa kaatni pade." ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• **Next day** Hamza puts all his bags in the car and comes back to his family to meet them for the last time before heading to airport. His mother is crying as Zoya is consoling her along with his father.
Even though Hamza knows that Rumi won't come to meet him, he still looks at the gate all the time in the hopes that she will come through there to meet him.
Hamza meets his parents and Zoya and gets in the car with Sharib. Gate opens and there's still no one there.
They drive away and once again Hamza is left heartbroken by his own mistakes.
"Yaar uske ghar ke samne se nikal sakte hain hum?" Hamza questions in an unrest. "Haan, lekin kyun?" Sharib asks. "Bas uske paass hona chaahta hun ek minute ke liye."
Sharib shakes his head and looks at Hamza again as he feels helpless to save his friend and to stop this pain that he's going through.
Hamza takes a deep breath as he looks at the house and thinks about when Rumi told him that she was pregnant. He imagines how life would've been if they had their baby, if he had not lied to her. Just when he's about to break into tears, he tells Sharib to drive and controls himself. "This is how life is now, sad and regretful." ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Rumi hadn't eaten all day. She keeps thinking about Hamza. There's a sinking feeling that she can't seem to get rid of. "No, I will not go there, that will make me look weak. But if I don't go, I will regret this for God knows how long."
She finally sums up the courage to go and meet him.
**Doorbell rings.** "Beta zara dekhna toh kon hai." Saman (Hamza & Zoya's mom) tells Zoya. "Ji." **Zoya opens the door** "Kaisi ho Zoya?" "Arey! Rumi? Kaise aana hua? Aao andar aao. Mama dekho kaun aya hai." Zoya says in excitement. "Woh, uh- Hamza kahaan hai mujhe usse zaroori baat karni hai main usse milke aunty se mil leti hun." "Woh toh-" "Kya?" "Woh toh America chala gaya subah hi." Rumi feels sick to her stomach as she starts regretting not talking to him or meeting him.
