It's evening and Hamza and Rumi change and go downstairs for the get-together.
Rumi goes in the kitchen to make food with Saman and their workers.
"Beta, aaj haath nahi lagao kisi cheez ko kitchen mein. Abhi bahir ho jaao tumhara shohar aa gaya na toh taane dega mujhe ke meri biwi ko aate hi kaam par lagwa diya. Aur waise bhi maids hain khana banane ke liye."
"Offo, nahi Mama. Aisa kuchh nahi kahega woh. Mujhe kaam karne dein. Dinner banaana hai sab ke liye, maids help kar dengi khana achha bann jayega please aap jaa kar baithein."
Hamza comes in the kitchen.
"Arrey, aapne meri biwi ko aate hi kitchen mein lagwa diya? Chainn ki saans toh lene do isse."
"Lo karlo baat. Wohi hua na jo maine kahaa tha. Main apne bete ko achhi tarah se jaanti hun." Saman exclaims.
"Hamza kitchen se bahir ho jaao aur mujhe khana banane do. Yeh mera bhi ghar hai aap log aise kar rahe hain jaise main pata nahi kahaan aa gayi hun. Chalo Hamza bahir jao, Mama aap bhi jayein baithen please."
Saman looks at both of them, feels so happy and leaves.
"Ohho, mautarma maaf kardein. Main toh chai banane aaya tha."
"Main banaa deti hun."
"Nahi main banauga. Aur aapko bhi pilaunga."
He tells the maids to leave and says he will do the rest of the preparation along with Rumi.
He hugs Rumi from behind while she is cutting the vegetables.
"Hamza chhodo. Kaam karne do please."
"Aaj toh mama ne fazool mein hi get-together rakhdi. 2 din baad ki bhi toh party rakhi hi thi. Mujhe meri biwi ke saath itne saalon baad badi mushqil se waqt guzarne ko mila hai aur woh hai ke kitchen mein masroof hai."
"Meri jaan kaam bhi zaroori hote hain."
"Haye! Taras gaya tha yeh lafz sun ne ke liye."
He then kisses her on the cheek and goes to make chai.
While she is working, he gives her a sip of chai every now and then, and helps her in making the food."

Guests arrive and they have dinner. Everyone praises the food and Hamza boasts that Rumi and he made everything.
After the dessert, Saman gets up and says she wants to make an announcement.
"Jaise ki aap sab ko pata hai, meri pyaari si beti Zoya, aur Asim bahot arse se aik dusre ke saath hain. Aaj main aap sab ko batana chaahti hun ke humne inn dono ki engagement tay kardi hai. Aaj se aik mahiney aur kuchh din mein in dono ki engagement hai."
Everyone rejoices in happiness and surprise. Rumi is surprised as well because she didn't know this was decided. She asks Zoya, and she says she wanted to give her a surprise as well.

The guests leave late at night and everyone goes to sleep. Hamza and Rumi go upstairs last.
When they reach the room, Hamza lets out a sigh of relief.
"Shukar hai."
"Kya din thaa na Hamza? Itna lamba din. Kahaan se shuru hua aur kahaan aa kar khatam hua."
"Hamaare naseeb mein tha Rumi yeh din, hamne aaj ke din se bahot si cheezein seekhni thi."
"Hmm." She says, lost in thoughts.
