Bad news

When I wake up I see the two last people I want to see right now
Leo and Nurse Jackson
Leo bounces at the chance to be a "Good guy" "Emma are you okay? What happened?"
"Nothing I'm fine Leo, just leave me alone."
"Actually Leo right now can I ask you to give us a second?" Maybe I should just let Leo talk to me. Better than the lecture I'm about to get from nurse j. But next thing I know it's just me and Jackson. "Emma you have been here almost 2 weeks since the last incident, you haven't gained any weight. Your parents have given the go ahead. you are on the last straw. You dont gain weight by the next weigh in and you are getting tubed"
"No"
"You don't get a say, your only say was gaining weight on your own but you can't do that so we need to manually feed you"
I turn, go to my chair and open a magazine, i stare at this picture of a super model and im consumed with the wonder of why they allow me to have this magazine. I hear nurse Jackson leave and Leo enter.
"So bad news huh?"
just ignore him. Eventually he will go away. I'm sure he just thinks I am a brat. He just got the worst news he could have possibly gotten and I'm throwing a fit about a feeding tube? Emma stop being a brat talk to him
"No Leo I'm fine"
"Well no you're not, what's going on?" He asks pulling the blanket offer my face
"Nothing" I sniff "just tired" I get up and walk to my desk, trying to act like I'm fine I pick up a book, not even seeing what it is I open up to a random page and pretend to read.
"Emma" he says walking and sitting next to me "don't run out on me, please give me another chance" he says nudging my book out of my eyesight "please"
I sigh and look him in the eyes, his big, brown, beautiful eyes. He is staring back into mine, waiting, both of us hopefully waiting for someone to break the silence. "I love you"

That didn't come from his mouth. It came from mine, before I can even realize what happened I grab his smooth bald head and pull it down to mine so I can kiss him. And we kiss.
