What Has This Become? (Levi x Eren)

Why?

(Eren's POV)

I can not believe Levi did that! I am freaking out. Holy fucking shit! I can't even look at him. I can't tell him that I wanted him to kiss me, I just can't. Instead of telling him that, my 'amazing' brain came up with the idea of calling him a pervert. Why am I so stupid? He probably hates me now.

"I..." He trailed off. "Eren all I can say is sorry." He got up from the couch, and I heard some rustling near the counter. Suddenly, I felt something hard hit my head.

"Wha...?" I stopped myself, and looked at the object in my hand. His car keys.

"Drive yourself home, give me my keys tomorrow. Leave." He pointed at the door, and started to walk away. He was going to walk to work tomorrow!

"Levi! How will you get to work?" I asked, shifting on the bed.

"I'll walk." He said back. Just as I thought.

"But-"

"I told you to leave, do you want to get fired?" He said with a warning tone.

"N-No s-sir." I stuttered, and stood up. "I'll leave." I put on my best pouty face, slowly put on my shoes, and my jacket, then I opened the door. "Bye, Levi, I'll see you tomorrow." I frowned and walked out of his house. I felt bad for taking his car, but he said he would fire me if I didn't...

I got to the car, and opened it. His phone was sitting in the drivers seat. Shit. I picked it up, and decided I'd take it back to him. I walked up his driveway, and I knocked his door.

"Levi? I have your phone." I said through the door, trying to hold back my tears. I don't know if I can face him, not after what happened...

He opened the door, I couldn't believe he didn't change, but he didn't have a shirt on. His black hair was slightly wet. I guess he was about to take a shower...

"Uh... Phone?" I said in a tone that sounded more like a question, rather than a statement. I was too busy starting at his toned stomach rather than to focus on what I was saying.

"Whatever, give it here." He stuck out his hand, and I set down the phone.

"By-"

"Leave. I don't want to hear it." He turned away, and started to close the door.

"Levi! I... was just saying goodbye..." I frowned. Why does this hurt? I wanted him to kiss me, but it just surprised me, maybe I had the wrong reaction.

"Leave." He didn't even turn back around when he slammed the door in my face. I sighed and walked back to his car. I got in, started the car, and took off. Turns out we live in the same neighborhood, just a couple blocks away, I could have walked. I parked the car on the street next to our house, locked it,and walked inside. As soon as I opened the door, Mikasa almost killed me.

"Eren!!! Where the hell have you been? Jackass, it's like 11:00!! You-"

"Mikasa I was just talking to my boss about my work schedule. Then we hung out for a while, and I left." I carefully placed the keys on our counter. No way in hell I'm telling her about him almost kissing me.

"So, are those his keys?" She asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"Yeah, he let me borrow his car." Suddenly something hit me. I can pick him up tomorrow morning! That'll work! I just have to text him and ask him when he wakes up!

"That was nice of him. You do know that tomorrow is Thursday, so it's my turn to use the car right?" She got up and patted me on the shoulder.

"Yeah. I know." I smiled.

"Night Eren."

"Goodnight." I said back. She walked to her room, and closed the door. I pulled out my phone and texted Levi.

I can pick you up tomorrow in the morn. Don't live that far away.

I waited a few minutes before he responded back.

That's fine, be there at 7:00.

I plugged my phone in, and went to my room, not bothering to see if he texted me back. I sat on my bed, and pulled out the book he gave me. I read it for about half an hour. I got up, out of bed, and brushed my teeth. I came back into my room, and laid back down. The last thought that drifted through my head before I fell asleep was...

I think I'm in love with my boss.

~Dream Start~

I gasped and backed away. Here I was again. Standing on the edge of a building way too far off the ground. The man from last time wasn't here, but I was still terrified. I sat down, and tried to calm down. It'll be okay. You won't fall. It'll be okay. I repeated those lines to myself over and over again, until I was mostly calm. Suddenly someone's leg hit my chest. I was flung close to the edge, almost falling off.

"Ahhh!" I screamed, and tried to get back up, but the person hit me again.

"Eren." A familiar voice sounded from the person's throat. Levi? Suddenly the man standing in front of me toppled over the edge. I screamed, but looked back to see a hand extended.

"Come on brat, don't sit here waiting all day." He said. It was Levi.

"T-Thank y-you." I said carefully taking his hand. The contact sent shivers throughout my whole body. He pulled me up, and pulled me into a hug.

"Anytime, brat. I'll always save you. I promi-" I cut Levi off by kicking him in the stomach. Why did I do that?! I didn't want to do that! I can't control my own body!

"Don't sweet talk me, bitch, I know you sent that man to kill me!" I yelled. I can't... no! I don't want to do this!

"Ere-"

"Have fun in hell, bastard." I cut him off, and kicked him over the edge.

~Dream End~

I woke with a start. Did I just dream about killing Levi?! What Happened?!!
