(Levi's POV)

I can't believe myself right now. That brat had run into me, and I had apologized. What is getting into me? I shook my head, clearing my thoughts, and continued my journey through this overly-crowded shopping mall. I shoved past someone who started yelling profanities at me. I spun around, and gave him my famous death glare. The boy slowly walked away, terrified. I made my way out of the shopping mall, and to my 2014 red Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. I pulled out my keys, and unlocked it. I carefully sat down, and turned on the ignition. I took off, out of the parking lot, and headed towards my office building. When I turned the corner away from the mall, I saw a huge line of cars.

Well, I guess I'll use this time to tell you about me. Okay well I am currently 21. I have no wife, or children. I actually do not even like girls. I am gay. I also live alone, in a very nice house, it does sometimes get lonely there, but I like being alone. I usually don't show my emotions, I always keep a straight face. The reasoning behind that is, a couple of years ago, back when I was 17, my mother, father, and sister all passed away. No, not on the same day, but all in the same year. My father was shot while he was out working. He was a police man, and had never had a case he couldn't solve, until that day. My mother died of lung cancer,  she was only 39. So young. My sister, Petra, who was 15 at the time, was riding home with a friend, and got in a car wreck. The driver, and herself were killed on impact. So that is my life. It sucks. I haven't smiled since that year. I never will smile. I promised myself that much, unless I find that special someone, who is able to make me do such a foreign act. Oh did I mention? I'm as short as hell, 5 feet, 3 Inches to be exact. I hate it. That really is all there is to know about me.

I glanced out of my window, and saw the light turn green, I took off again, and soon arrived at my office. I slowly pulled my car into the parking garage, and found a suitable parking place. I got out, and locked my car. As I was headed towards the elevator, I remembered the incident at the mall. The boy who ran into me, then helped me pick up my papers. I quickly checked the hinges on my briefcase to make sure they were secured so I wouldn't have to chase after my papers again. I arrived at the elevator, and to my extreme luck, there was one open, headed upwards. I got in, pressed the 'floor #5' button, and silently waited. I hated elevators, usually they were packed with disgusting people and I ended up using the stairs. But this time, barley anyone was on it, so I happily went along with it, and climbed in. We silently rode up, floor by floor, waiting to get off. The elevator finally reached my floor, and I stepped out. I hit someone, who muttered a 'sorry' to me, but I just kept on walking. I checked my watch to see I was 2 minutes early. I opened the door to my office, and was rudely tackled by Hanji. She was screaming random words, that I didn't care to listen to, while hugging me.

"Leviiiii?!" She screamed. "What toooook you so loooonnnggg?!"

"Hanji, get off, I'm early, I didn't take long." I replied, giving her a glare.

"Noooo! You usually get here 10 minutes early! Not 2!" She stomped her feet on the ground like a 3 year old.

"Stop being a baby, Hanji, I just ran into someone, literally. My papers went everywhere, so I had to pick them up. Satisfied?" I asked with a warning tone. I needed to start on my work.

"OHHH! Who?! Was she, oh! Was it a guy?! Was he cute?! Was it a girl?! Was she-"

"Shut the fuck up Hanji." I said pushing her off, and heading to my room.

"But answer my question! Pleaseeeee!"

"Fine. It was a boy, he wasn't looking where he was going, and neither was I. End of story, now leave, I have to get to work." She frowned.

"Fine." She stomped away. I pulled out my keys, and unlocked my door. The scent of vanilla suddenly hit my nose. I inhaled deeply, and walk in. I sat down in my overly comfortable chair, and started to work on some papers that were neatly stacked on my desk. I actually didn't like my job all that much. It was all paper work. But it was a good paying job, with not to many work hours. I worked for about 20 minutes of working, I heard a soft knock on my door.

"Levi? Someone is here to see you." Hanji's voice sounded through my door. Someone here to see me? Who?

"Come in." I said. She opened the door, next to her was the boy from earlier. Oh yeah, I gave him a card. I forgot. I pushed the chair away from my desk and rested my feet on my desk.

"Well sit down." I motioned to the chair in front of my desk. The boy slowly moved towards it, and sat down. "Hanji, you can leave now, shut the door on your way out." She walked away, shutting the door behind her. "Hi." I extended my hand. "I, as you know, am Levi. You are?"

"Eren." He said simply. He shook my hand, and focused his eyes on every detail of my office. He was probably admiring my cleanliness.

"Well, Eren, what is it you want to do for a job?" I asked.

"Uh, well anything that pays, I really need the money." He looked away again. I kept on staring at him. Why did he need the money? Why am I interested in his past, and or future? Why should I care?

"Well, are you good at any kind of paper work?"

"Yeah, I guess. I don't really know." He shook his head, as if trying to figure my question out.

"Well, if we were to employ you here, you would be doing lots of paper work, you would also answer the phones, and greet people up at the front. Would that be fine?"
"Uh, yeah!" He smiled sweetly at me. "What are the requirements?"

"Graduated from high school. That's really it."

"Well, I've done that. So, uh, what are the hours?"

"Well, for you, it would be from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. but you could stay longer, and get paid more, you also get paid by the hour."

"So, yeah, I could do that."

"Then you start tomorrow." His head snapped up to look at me. Finally. His eyes were a noticeably beautiful color. They were a brilliant mix of green and blue. I guess you could call them turquoise.

"Wait, what? No training? Nothing?"

"Nope, if you suck, we'll fire you." He flinched at my harsh words. "Fair enough right?" He silently nodded.

"Yeah, fair enough." He stood up from the chair. "Thank you so much, this means alot. Anything else?"

"No, you are free to leave now." He turned, and walked out of the room. I was left alone with my paper work again. I sighed, and got back to work. I like the kid, he seems hard-working, and intelligent. He'll definitely help around here.
