tendō sighed as he looked at the girl who was fiddling with his phone. she asked to borrow it so she could play a game she downloaded there ages ago.

the two of them were at a famous restaurant in miyagi. despite it being miles away from shiratorizawa, tendō and her often went here for the famous and delicious food. they were just waiting for their orders to be served. also, he had family here in this area which they typically visit when they come here.

he looked at her phone which she discarded a few minutes ago after texting who he assumed was oikawa. he made a motion to get it and toshila didn't mind, shrugging as a silent permission for him to get it.

he unlocked it with the pattern he memorized from seeing the girl do it multiple times. he opened starstagram and almost automatically, saw a profile he knew all too well— as the boy was practically the team's rival.

"oikawa?" he murmured, eyes narrowing as he scanned the profile.

he wondered why toshila was following the account when she could potentially be found out. but then he realized that she wasn't using her personal account. rather, this looked a lot like a—

"freaking fan account?" he whispered in disbelief, eyes wide as he viewed the girl's fan profile.

with over one thousand followers, the girl's fan account of the seijoh setter and captain seemed to be everyone's source of oikawa content.

"how on earth..?" he was still in shock.

he glanced up at toshila who was busy playing on his phone.

he knew for a fact that she wasn't the type to do this. in fact, with the girl's condition, she was physically, emotionally, and mentally incapable of something like this.

did she do this to help with her goal?

he shook his head.

of course she did. otherwise, making a fan account and managing it on a daily basis the way she'd been doing for two months at the minimum— according to the first post, she made this two months ago— was a complete waste of time and effort.

even what they did earlier today was part of her goal, no doubt. on the way here, he drove her to seijoh so she could deliver milkbread to the captain. she was ready for a face reveal, but tendō wasn't. he was glad that she didn't get to see the captain of seijoh, and instead was welcomed by an owl-eyed volleyball player and a team he didn't know of. after dropping off the milkbread, they visited tendō's family which was a few blocks away from seijoh and hung out there watching movies before coming here at the restaurant as their final stop just ten minutes ago.
