Sharon smiled, "You didn't lie about the candle light."
Bucky grinned, "I hope you like it."
She nodded and sipped her wine, "It's nice."
The waiter came and took their food order. Both were nervous. Bucky fiddled with the silver, "Rhodey said you're coming along great in therapy."
Sharon looked down, "Yeah he's be great." She looked around nervous, "Ah thanks for letting me stay with you. I might be getting the ok to go back to be all independent living soon."
Bucky tried not to look disappointed, "Oh? That's good, but I don't mind you being there... Staying with me that is."
Sharon sipped her wine and chuckled, "Is it just me or is this like a really awkward first date?"
Bucky grinned, "Sharon... Baby bear I really like knowing you're in the apartment with me, but if you like your house better... Maybe I could stay in one of the other rooms-"
Sharon cut him off, "I like the apartment. I was thinking of selling the house... I don't know if..."
Bucky took her hand, "Then stay with me and when you figure out if you'd like to sell it I'll help."
Sharon shyly looked up at him, "Are you asking me to move in with you?"
Bucky shook his head, "No... You are live with me. I am asking you to stay."
She blushed, "Oh? Well I guess I will stay..."
The waiter brought them their entrées. Sharon coyly licked her lips, "When we get home we should celebrate."
Bucky nodded, "How would you like to do that? I'm not watching Dark Crystal again."
Sharon smiled, "No... I was hoping to seduce you, but I'm not very good at that."
Bucky choked on his wine, "I'm sorry what?"
She leaned forward, "James Barnes... You make me feel safe and loved. Not once have you looked at me or made me feel like... Like I am a horrible person." Sharon stared at her hands before lifting her head, "I know that you've been holding back so you wouldn't scare or make me feel pressure, but I need you. I miss being held and not to stroke your ego you[she blew a breath out]you know how to make me feel good."
Sharon met his gaze, "I can't promise I might not freeze or panic, but I want you. I want you so bad I find myself lost in daydreams-"
Bucky pulled her into a deep kiss that made them both dizzy with passion and desire, "We'll go as slow as you need Baby bear. I will never hurt you...you can trust me to keep you safe."
She smiled, "I know."
