Chapter 31: I'm With You

Arthit could not sleep after getting the call from Knot. He was worried and anxious from thinking what Kongpob and his family will do once they see the news. Arthit was sitting on the corner of the bed when Kongpob woke up after not being able to feel Arthit beside him. "Baby is everything ok? Why are you not in bed?" Arthit turned and saw Kongpob waking up while rubbing his eyes but his eyes looked concerned the moment their eyes met. Kongpob knew something is wrong and it has to be something big. Kongpob woke up and walked towards Arthit. He sat down facing Arthit. "Baby, I can see that you are not okay. I'm not leaving you so tell me what is going on. I have never seen you like this." Arthit didn't know how to tell Kongpob of what happened and about everything that they will be facing from now on. Kongpob took Arthit's hand in his when he saw that Arthit was zoning out again. "Baby, there is nothing that we cannot get through together. I'm with you on this. I don't like seeing you pressuring yourself like this. Tell me what it is please." Arthit saw Kongpob tearing up and seeing the sincerity on his love's face he knew at that very moment that they will get through this together. "Love, what I'm gonna tell you is not gonna be something easy to take in but I want you to listen to me until the very end okay." Kongpob nodded his head. Arthit took a deep breath "Love, there are some pictures of us that are being viral on the news and everyone now. I don't want you to worry about it because I promise I will take care of it and most importantly I don't want you to believe in anything they say or write."

Arthit saw the change in Kongpob's face. He was terrified. He couldn't meet Arthit's eyes. Arthit knows all this is new for Kongpob and things might even change in their relationship but Arthit promised to himself that he is never leaving this man in front of him to face anything alone. Kongpob suddenly faced Arthit "I want to see the news. Show it to me." Arthit had no other choice then showing it to him. Arthit stood up from the bed and went to take his phone and showed Kongpob the news. Kongpob took the phone from his hand and read the headlines of the news 'THE RISING STAR IS DATING A GUY. WAS HE MANIPULATED BY THE UNNAMED GUY?' "Am I the unnamed guy they are talking here? Who else will that be ryte if its not me. Silly me. Now everyone knows we are dating ryte." Arthit knew Kongpob was panicking, he went and hugged him when Kongpob started to wriggle out of the hug. "Will this affect your career baby? Will people hate you because you are dating me, a guy. What will happen to my family?" Arthit pulled Kongpob and hugged him tightly so that Kongpob won't be able to break the hug. "Its going to be okay love. Nobody will hate anyone and even if they hate me I don't care because I have you with me. Nothing matters to me as much as you. I will take care of everything okay. Please trust me love." Arthit spoke in a soft voice which calmed Kongpob down. He hugged him back "Don't leave me baby. Let's fight this together. I love you P'Arthit." "I will never leave you even if its the end of the world. I love you too Kongpob." 

While Arthit and Kongpob were figuring things, Kongpob's sisters saw the news. Jenny and Godji didn't know what to do. What they feared the most has happened and all they can think is that they will not let their baby brothers to get hurt. Jenny and Godji went to see their parents. "Ma and Pa, we have something to show you." Godji worked up her courage to tell their parents. Jenny and Godji were scared to tell their parents because they didn't know how they both will take this. "What is it Godji? Don't tell me one of you are pregnant." Tina looked at them with a shocked face. "Ma, we are not and this is something serious and its about Arthit and Kongpob. I think its better if you and pa read this." Tina and Krekkrai read the news and they were devastated at that moment. They never wanted this for their son. All they could think of at that moment was Kongpob. "Where are they?" Krekkrai finally opened his mouth after reading the news. Jenny showed that they are still in the room when the room door opened showing Arthit and Kongpob walking down the stairs coming towards them. Arthit and Kongpob stood in front of the family with their heads hanging low. "Mae and Por, I have something to tell everyone." Arthit started the conversation. He was scared on how they will react but he has to take responsibility to solve this issues and for to solve it he needs all the support he can get. He was nervous when he saw the frown on his parents-in-laws face. But before Arthit could continue Krekkrai spoke "I know what you want to talk to us about Arthit. We just read the news and I can tell you that we are not happy with what is going on.  My son's face is all over the news and not in a good way to begin with. This is exactly what I feared when Kongpob told us that you both are dating. Your fans can do anything to my boy and I'm not letting that to happen." The others could only watch what was happening. Kongpob was tearing up. This is not how he imagined the whole trip but its all out of hand now. Arthit listened to everything Krekkrai was saying and he understood that he is angry because Kongpob is his son and he loves his son. He doesn't want his son to get hurt by others and Arthit is ready to do anything Krekkrai tells him because all this happened because of him. He don't want Kongpob to get hurt too because he loves him more than himself and would do anything to keep it that way and to protect him. But what he heard next from his father-in-law was something he was not ready to do and will never be. "BREAK UP WITH KONGPOB."
