Chapter 16: The truth

M opened the door and saw Kongpob crying and sitting on his porch while holding his legs. "Kong.. What happened.. why are you crying? Come inside first.. we can talk inside." M brought Kongpob inside the house and helped him to sit on the couch and he went to get a glass of water for him. Kongpob was crying silently when M handed him the glass of water but he didn't look up to see M. M sat beside Kong and gave his friend a side hug allowing Kong to rest his head oh M's hand. "M... P'Arthit confessed to me.. I didn't know what to do so I ran away from him M.. He will not accept me when he learns the truth about me M.. He will push me away like everyone else and I can't bear to go through that M.. I really really like him M but it's better for me to keep away from him M." Kongpob told M everything while hugging his friend and crying.

M knows everything Kongpob has gone through and it was not an easy journey for him. But he feels that Arthit might not judge Kongpob and that Arthit might be able to keep Kong happy but it's hard to talk sense to his friend once he makes his decision. M will do his best to help his friend because he knows that Kongpob will not be happy without Arthit in his life because Kongpob has already fallen for Arthit. "Its ok Kong.. Give yourself some time.. You deserve to be happy to my friend.. Arthit does not look like he is someone who will judge you based on what you went through or who you are Kong.. Why don't you try explaining and talk it out with him Kong." M tried to persuade Kong to talk to Arthit but it's just hard to change his mind. "No M.. I'm never talking about this to P'Arthit.. I can't see him hating me M.. I don't want him to hate me so the best option is for me to stay away from him.. soon he will forget about me M." Kong said and went to the guest room.

'I'm very sorry P'Arthit that I hurt you like this but I can't accept you. Not because I don't like you but it's because I like you that I can't accept you. You will surely hate me when you know the truth about me and I can't see you hating me which is why I will stop meeting you from now on P'. I hope that you will be happy and I will always watch you from far P'.' Kongpob wrote a letter and kept it inside his favorite book and went to bed. Even though he will not be sending the letter to Arthit, it was just like a comfort to him that he is still able to talk to Arthit. Kongpob decided to forget all about Arthit and start fresh as he will be starting his work next week. He went to bed thinking that everything will turn out good and that he has made the right decision for him and Arthit. Kongpob couldn't sleep that night thinking about Arthit.

That night while M was thinking about what do to with his friends situation his phone rang. He saw the caller ID and felt weird as to why Knott was calling him at such a time but he still decided to pick the call. "Hello P'Knott.. Tomorrow? Yes sure P' just text me the address and I will see you tomorrow. Okay P'.. Kong will not know anything about this. See you P'." M had a small guess as to why Knott wants to meet him tomorrow but he kept the guesses aside and went to bed. The next morning M woke up as usual and realized that Kong was still asleep unlike his usual self but M didn't want to disturb so he let him sleep in. He quickly made some food for Kong so that he can eat once he wakes up before leaving to meet Knott. He left a small note to Kong saying that he will be back late as he went out to meet his friend so he asked him to order in food for lunch.

M reached the café 5 minutes later and saw that Knott was already in waiting for him. "Hi P', did I keep you waiting for long? Sorry the traffic was bad." M sat opposite Knott and placed his order before asking Knott the purpose of the meet. As expected Knott wanted to talk about Arthit and Kongpob. "M.. You are Kong's bestfriend and I'm sure you know why Kong rejected Arthit's feelings. Does he really don't like Arthit, M?" "No P'.. Actually Kong likes Arthit and has liked him for a very long time but it's just that there is something that stops him from accepting Arthit. He feels that if Arthit knows about it then he will surely hate him and he doesn't want that to happen that is why he is keeping himself away from Arthit." M saw Knott narrowing his brows and he knew what the next question will be. "What is is M that is stopping him. I know Arthit and he is not the type who judges people. He genuinely like Kong for who he is so what is the thing that is stopping him M?" M didn't want to tell Knott about Kongpob's reason nor secret because that is not his place to tell but Kong's. "I'm sorry P' but I can't tell you about this. It's better for you to listen it straight from him P'." "But M.. I'm sure he will not meet me nor tell me the reason behind what he did. We need to help them M. So please let me know the reason." Knott was right. Kongpob is not going to tell this to Knott even if he asks him and he really wants his friend to be normal and happy again. He has no other choice but to do this to help his friend gain his happiness. "Alright P' I will tell you but if you judge him then I myself will make sure that he will not meet you people anymore. Kongpob can give birth like any other female. He is a bearer P'. He has gone through soo much just because he is different. His family was the only one who stood with him when everyone else bullied him and talked bad about him and his family. Every time he gets into a relationship, the guy leaves him when they know he is a bearer and that is the reason he don't want to accept Arthit. He is scared that Arthit will hate him as well." Knott didn't know what to say. He was not expecting this but he doesn't hate them. His own brother is a bearer and that doesn't define anything about a person. "M.. I understand the struggles Kongpob went through.. My brother is a bearer as well and it has not been an easy journey but I can promise you that Arthit will not leave Kong when he knows about this. I need your help M.. they have to meet and talk it out. I have a plan." Knott knows what he has to do now and with M's help he was sure that his plan will work.
