Upon hearing the terrified scream of a murder occurring, the manager of the store went with the panic-stricken customer and went into the bathroom area. The manager had almost vomited after seeing the sight of his dead employee but had to ensure the safety of others.

"Would you please kindly exit the store in an orderly manner as we call the police for help." That was what everyone assumed to be a confirmation of the murder and resulted in the exact opposite of what was meant to happen.

It sent everyone inside the store into a state of panic and chaos. Before Scott could process anything that had happened, the unfamiliar and uncommon sound of the police sirens could be heard. Following behind the police cars was an ambulance.

The whole store had been taken into control by the police within a few minutes, and everyone was rounded up for what Scott guessed to be an investigation. Scott had been asked to leave his car and was standing in a group of panicked people. He still could not process what was going on. A murder occurred here? In Youthville? That hasn't happened in, like, 45 years!

After what felt like an eternity, the police finally let them leave, but at that very second, they were asked to wait a moment yet again. Scott wondered what they were waiting for. Two paramedics walked out of the store holding a stretcher, and in it was the body of a dead girl. She wore the restaurant's signature uniform, and Scott felt nauseous at the sight of a dead body. Could it have been that dead girl who screamed through the speaker while Scott was waiting for his order to be taken?

What seemed to be the most messed-up part was how the paramedics had not covered up the whole body with a sheet. Everyone could see her lifeless face, and Scott could have sworn when he took another look at the dead girl, he saw some resentment in her eyes directed at him. He rubbed his eyes and took another look, and he just saw the same thing earlier: a lifeless pale face. Scott still wished the best to the deceased in the afterlife and left the crime scene with no appetite.

Scott returned home feeling queasy. He thought about what he had seen. Was he hallucinating? He must have been, right? There was no possible explanation for a dead body to stare at him angrily. He washed his face in the sink. He decided that he just needed to calm down. It was a traumatic experience for him, so he must still be in shock.

"It's all your fault!"

A female voice had popped out of nowhere. Scott turned around quickly, but there was no one there. "Hello?"

"You got me killed!"

Who had I gotten killed? Scott was confused. Wait a second. That girl at the restaurant? But I was in my car the whole time. What could I have possibly done?

"I'm going to haunt you for the rest of your life!"

That got Scott running into his room and locking the door. He jumped under the blanket and cowered in fear. This cannot be real, right? I must have been hearing things. There is no one in the apartment right now. Scott was trying to figure out what was going on and when he heard a knock on the door he jumped and fell off his bed. Could that have been the cause of the voices he heard?

Scott slowly approached the door and was too terrified to open it. Every step he took towards the door, he started to think of all the possibilities of who it could be. Scott slowly pulled down his door handle, and in his hand was a pillow he was ready to use to smack down the possible zombie or killer waiting for him. He slowly opened the door and swung as hard as he could.

"Ow! What the fuck, man? What are you doing?" It was only Warren.

"Why were you just standing there in silence? I was scared for nothing. I thought there was an intruder or something." Scott was feeling quite pissed.
