I woke up to silence. It was 11:00. I shot straight up and got ready. "Mom?!" I called through the house. "Mother?!" I ran all around the house calling for her. "Mistress has already left, I assumed she told you," Betsy said. "Can you get me there please?!" I asked quickly. Betsy nodded. Within a few seconds we were in Knockturn Alley. "Mother?!" I called. Borgin. She'd mentioned him before. I ran to a shop dimmed with light. I burst into the shop. "Borgin?!" I called. "Over here!" An old man sat at the desk. "Have you seen my mother?" I asked. "I've seen many women today," he shrugged. "Malfoy. Narcissa Malfoy!" I said quickly. "Oh yes! She came in earlier. Madam Malfoy went that way," he gave me directions and I ran out. "MOTHER?!" I called. "NARCISSA!" I didn't know what else to say at what I said. A woman in all black turned around. "Looking for madam Malfoy Hmm?" She asked. I nodded slowly. "Right that way dear," she smiled. I nodded slowly and ran that way. "NARCISSA!" I called. As I turned down the alley, I saw a woman hurrying into a shop. "I need a memory potion. A strong one," said the woman. It was my mother's voice. "Wait a sec. There's a child there!" Said a man. He went over to me and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. "Please please! I was looking for Narcissa Malfoy!" I said. My mother turned around but couldn't see my face as I was looking at him. "You've heard too much!" He growled. He threw my on the cobblestone and aimed his wand at me. "Memories can be attained, but you can't be revived," he laughed. "Mother!" I called. She slowly came out of the shop. "Maybe we shouldn't," she said. "Mother please!" I said. She turned to me. "Emily!" She ran to me quickly. "What are you doing here?!" She asked. "I wanted to find you," I said crying. She hugged me tightly. "I think I should go," she said. She took my arm and we apparated home. "Why would you go there?!" She yelled. "I wanted to find you!" I said. "I didn't want you to come for a reason Emily," she said coldly. "I'm sorry," I said. I headed upstairs. "Emily," she said. "What?" I asked. "I'm sorry. I just... I'm not in the best place right now," she said. "It's fine, I understand," I continued to go upstairs. "I thought you wanted to go to the football game?" She asked. "You got tickets?" I turned around. She smiled and held up two tickets. "Really? How though?" I asked. "Muggles can be manipulated easily," she laughed. "Thank you," I smiled. She took me after we changed into more casual wear. It was impressive seeing them play without brooms. "That was amazing," I smiled when we got home. The manor smelled odd though, like cologne. "Emily... get behind me," she said. I slowly walked behind her. She drew her wand and held it tightly. "EXPELLIARMUS!" "PROTEGO!" "FINITE!" A man around my mother's age appeared from the darkness. "Hello, Darling," he said sarcastically. "Lucius..." she mumbled. "Father?" I asked. "Stay behind me!" She yelled. "Don't listen to her! She took you away from me, come, I'd like a hug," he said slyly. "He's lying, please Emily trust me," she said. I slowly strode out from behind her. She put her hand on my shoulder. "Think about this," she whispered. "STUPEFY!" My mother was blasted backwards. "MUM!" I shouted. "Now your free to come with me," he held out his hand. "W-will she be alright?" I asked. "Hmm... she'll wake up in a few minutes give or take," he smirked. "I wanna stay until she wakes up," I said heading towards her. "NO!" he grabbed my arm roughly. He was going to apparate...
