Rin awoke at her desk from the harsh sunlight shining into her eyes.
"Did I fall asleep while working?" She asked herself, wiping the drool off her chin and slowly sitting up straight.
"Princess, King Axel is asking if you would like to go to breakfast with him before your departure," Eunha asked, patiently waiting at the door to her office.
"Commander Eunha? Wait, breakfast?" Rin asked, still half asleep.
"He's in the foyer on the first floor of the palace. We'll wait for you there," Eunha explained as he slowly walked away.
Rin shook her head and yawned, trying to keep quiet.
"Seven o'clock on the dot..." Rin checked her watch and tied her hair up.
In minutes, Rin met with Axel and Eunha in the foyer, accompanied by two short women who looked like Eunha.
One had a short black bob haircut and the other had long black hair parted down the left side of her head.
"Rin! Good morning, glad you can make it," Axel exclaimed, going in for a hug.
"What?" Rin asked, hesitant to give Axel a hug.
Eunha looked down at his feet to hide his smile of embarrassment.
"I don't think you've casually hugged me like that for a while..." Rin noted, slowly backing away.
"Don't overthink it, I'm just trying to be nice. Anyway..." Axel cleared his throat and pressed his hands together, "Eunha mentioned you'd be joining me for breakfast before our departure, correct?"
Rin nodded and crossed her arms.
"Well... while you were still asleep, The Conscript, Zah, and I were talking about the whole situation. We all thought it would be a good idea to leave for Exodii! We didn't want to come to this conclusion without you but everyone felt it was necessary," Axel explained.
"So, you're just going to disregard everything I said yesterday about work and my family? You have a family too, Axel," Rin argued.
"That's where these two come in. Meet Chae and Hayeon. These are Eunha's siblings," Axel introduced the two women in front of them.
They both bowed in sync, showing their respect to Axel and Rin.
"We will not disappoint, Your Highness."
"Okay... So what are they going to do?" Rin asked, still confused.
"They will be taking over your positions. And while we're gone, Eunha and Quain will be taking over my positions. As of last night, I executed Plan G," Axel explained, turning to Eunha.
"Plan G?" Rin asked, turning to Eunha.
"Plan G was orchestrated at the beginning of your vacation, Your Highness. King Axel has prepared a full outline of what must be done in the event he must leave Crescent City to be with the Conscript. I will be accompanying you to your breakfast where I will share the rest of the details with everyone else," Commander Eunha explained.
Rin sighed and walked past everyone and towards the front doors, "I can't wait to hear what you have in mind."
Chae and Hayeon were directed towards a temporary office where they would oversee the lower tier operations Rin hadn't quite finished yet.
Rin, Axel, and Eunha entered a car meant to escort them to Clover Cafe.
As Eunha sat down, Rin struggled to pull her seatbelt around her, "It's locked."
"Just let go and try it again," Eunha explained, putting his seatbelt on with ease.
Rin rolled her eyes and followed his directions, allowing the strap of leather to glide on her palm. As Rin finally buckled in, she sarcastically smiled at Eunha and crossed her arms.
