Zihao floated down the hallway with a scowl. He always hated the smell of hospitals, something about the stale scent accompanied by the white walls made him want to jump out the nearest window. It didn't help that the doctors specifically stated that no one else could accompany him due to 'HIPAA violations.'

Sighing, he followed the nurse into the room he was scheduled to meet the doctor in. "The doctor will be with you shortly." The nurse offered him a quick bow before rushing out of the room. Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, Zihao falls back onto a cloud of smoke with a groan. 'The kids are probably learning about the Cultural Festival right now...'

A loud knock draws him out of his thoughts as a doctor walks in. "Thank you for coming in today Mr. L/n. I understand you rather be resting right now but we need to explain what exactly we've done to your leg." She wasted no time before pulling up an x-ray of his leg onto a screen hanging from the wall. The projector attached to the ceiling let out a low hum as the image grew clearer.

Using a pen, she points to the metal capsule in his leg. "Here you will see a conical frustum shape going through the center part of where your ankle meets your leg." Moving the tip of the pen, she circles the metallic area that touches his bone. "It'll act and feel equivalent to your normal leg. There should be no discomfort, if there is call us immediately." The screen flips to a photo of the device separate from his limb. He took notice of where the connectors were and how the outer shell pf the device differed. "It connects to your bone and sends routine signals to your brain just as a neurotransmitter would. Your entire bone was shattered, leaving us with either the option to severe the limb or add this device. It is still experimental, but I'm sure you'll have no issues with it. Do you have any questions?"
