"Education is the key to unlock the golden door to success" -George Washinton Carver
Isabella POV
The sound of my alarm blaring, informing me it was time for me to get ready for my first day of school. Now, wide awake, I slowly get up walking to my bathroom. I turn on the shower going to relieve myself as I wait for the water to warm up. After stripping myself naked I check the temperature of the water to feel the immediate sting of the boiling hot water. If I wasn't awake before this will definitely do the trick.
I turn off the water stepping out of the shower, feeling the coldness of the air right away. I speedily wrap myself in the fluffy, light blue towel. Drying off my body and proceeding to scrunch my hair up with the towel to dry it faster. I once again wrap my, now damp, towel around me beginning to brush my teeth as thoughts about how my first day at my new school will go.
Will I make any friends? Will I be labeled as the outcast again? Are the teachers nice? Am I going to have any classes with Ilias? Am I going to be bullied again? Will my classes be easy? Calm down Isabella, it's just another new school nothing you haven't been through before. Besides at the very least if I don't make any friends, I'll have Ilias to talk to.
I make my way out of the bathroom and towards my closet that is now filled-to its fullest extent- as of yesterday. Picking out a new pair of jeans that are a little loose but look good, nonetheless. Pairing it with a cropped white tank top putting a flannel shirt over it and a new pair of white Nike sneakers to complete my first-day outfit.
I pull my hair up into a messy bun, not really feeling like doing anything else with it. I pulled a few strands down to help make my face features more prominent.
I headed towards my bathroom grabbing my concealer and doing my routine of covering any of my visible bruises and scars. I think infections have started forming from the knife cuts that Larissa so graciously gave me just before her unfortunate accident. Not so much the ones on my abdomen but rather the ones along my back as they're the ones that are harder to treat due to them being on my back.
Just my shirts rubbing against them in the slightest way causes waves of pain to wash over me.
No use thinking about it now, I'll just find a free care clinic or find a way to get painkillers.
"Isabella, mio amore, breakfast is ready whenever you're feeling hungry!" A loud voice that sounded like my dad's suddenly boomed through the house. Jesus, I need a warning before he does that again! (my love)
I check the time on my new phone to see that it's already 7:15 which means it almost time for us to leave for school. I rush to throw my backpack over my shoulder running down the stairs directly into the dining room to see only 4 of my brothers and my dad already sitting at the table and eating breakfast peacefully, without a care in the world.
"Good morning, principessa, you hungry?" dad asked me patiently waiting for my answer.
"Not really, thank you for the offer though. But um, don't we have to leave soon it's already 7:15 and I don't think I would be starting off school right if I was late on my first day. I mean it's not really important though it's just I-" My rambling was interrupted by the sound of Theodore clearing his throat.
"1 It's not like we'll get in trouble if we're late to school. 2 school does start at 7:30. 3 we're leaving right now; I'll be taking you and Ilias to school today." Theodore stated bluntly already walking away. I glanced over to see Ilias looking rather joyful that Theodore was the one taking us to school.
Ilias grabbed my wrist starting to fast walk after Theodore, smiling cheerfully. "Come on Bells! Theo here is the most fun person to ride with, just make sure to put you seat belt on, since it would be absolutely terrible if you got hurt. I don't know what I would do without my younger sister."
Before Ilias's words could be fully processed Theodore abruptly stopped in front of a red sports car that was just one of the many expensive looking cars in the garage. Theodore and Ilias quickly jumped into the car quite enthusiastically. I got into the back seat while Ilias and Theodore happily sat up front, Theodore had a weird smirk on his face as we made eye contact for a split second through the rearview mirror. Should I be worried for my safety? Possibly, but what am I supposed to do about it plus I don't think he'll do anything to put us in extreme danger. That's the hope at the very least.
"Alright all passengers keep all limbs inside the ride at all times, be securely buckled in at all times, and always remember the golden rule if you get injured then it was because there was a reckless driver on the road." Theodore declared using an announcer's voice.
Ilias and I both strapped on our seatbelts quickly. I looked between the two nervously meanwhile they looked like they were about to have the time of their lives which only seemed to make me even more nervous.
I doubled checked my seatbelt attempting to calm my nerves with the reassurance that my seatbelt was on and keeping me secure. Before I could even blink Theodore blasted out of the garage at an alarming speed before reaching the highway, beginning to go even faster as the speedometer went close to 100.
By the time the car was put into park I was ready to throw up everything that was in my stomach, Ilias was screaming out of pure joy and excitement clearly on an adrenaline high, while Theodore just leaned against the car door with a stupid smirk on his face that made me a little tempted to punch him. However, my self-control won over the temptation.
"Alright Ilias, I'm now passing the responsibility of looking after her to you. If something happens just call dad, Alessandro, and if neither of them answer then Leo." Theodore stated, placing a hand on Ilias's shoulder before walking away towards a rather large building.
"You got it, Theo!" Ilias called out to Theodore, giving Theodore his reassurance.
They make it sound like I'm some sort of pet that they all share responsibility of or is that just me? Well, I guess it doesn't really matter as long as I get through my first day with no bad altercations.
"Come on Bells I'll show you around the school and take you to your classes. I hope we have some together, it'd suck if we only got to see each other at lunch." Ilias uttered as he walked to the building that is right next to the one Theodore walked into.

Quick A/N
I will start off with thank you all so, so, so much for the positive response I have been receiving on this book. I honestly thought that this would get absolutely no attention. That being said, I am also so, so, so sorry that it's been so long since I've posted it's just, I felt a little blocked and I had to focus on my grades. I will try to post the next chapter with 5-7 days.
