Once the fight was over and the female victim was sent to safety and the presumably call for help, she watched with growing curiosity as the vigilante made his way towards her, leaping up the fire escape almost effortlessly.

"You know, I don't usually work with an audience," he spoke roughly, stopping just on the edge of the escape, his chest heaving as he caught his breath.

"Well, I don't usually watch people fight crime in their pajamas either, I guess it's a night of first for both of us." she quipped back, delicately getting to her feet., studying the masked man curiously as he smirked at her comment. "In my defense," she continued, leaning on the railing behind her. "I was here to help until I saw you had things under control, then I stuck around out of curiosity. It's not every day you get to see the Devil of Hells Kitchen at work in the wild."

"Ah, so you know who I am?" He asked, moving from his spot on the fire escape up onto the roof, Layla following behind him. On the ground below several police cars pulled up outside the alley where the gang was still out cold.

"Well, red leather bodysuit and a mask not to mention the horns and all the punching, you're either really really kinky or the masked vigilante running around Hell's Kitchen, but hey whatever gets your kicks I suppose." She stretched a little, stiff from the running then squatting and sitting so long, watching as he smirked once again at her comment, his lip twitching as if he wanted to make a comment of his own.

"Well you know who I am so to speak, so do I get to find out who you are, or do you prefer to stay a silent voyeur?"

She licked her lips, it was her turn to smile at his cheeky comment, "Voyeur, maybe. Silent? Only if someone is not doing something right. As for my name? It's gonna take more than one crime fighting pajama party to get you that." She chuckled, moving away from him getting ready to leave. She turned giving him one last look over, "see you around Daredevil" she added, taking off at a run leaping across the rooftops headed back the way she came.

Landing back on her roof, Layla smiled to herself catching her breath as she made her way back down into her apartment, despite being exhausted now she hadn't felt this alive in she didn't know how long.

The following morning Layla stirred awake, stretching and groaning a little at her stiff muscles, surprised though despite the pain at just how well rested she felt. Last night was the first night since waking up in Germany that she hadn't had the nightmares she had become so accustomed to, nor did she wake up with the lingering headache that usually followed. As she got up and ready for the day her mind continuously drifted back to the mystery man from the night before, as much as she hated to admit it, last night was the most fun she could remember having in ages.

She had too much on her plate to let her thoughts focus on last nights events, and the activities of New Yorks Daredevil, which didn't stop her mind from wandering as she made her way uptown to work on the first person on her list. Her strategy was fairly simple, at least in her mind it was. She was headed first to Empire State University in hopes of speaking with one of the professors there who had done a study on retrograde amnesia. She hoped posing as a student interested in his work would be subtle enough to not draw any attention or bring up any questions she wasn't prepared to answer. She decided to take the subway, giving herself time to prepare as she made her way there. She had studied the map of the campus extensively the night before so getting to the proper department wasn't an issue, the school of medicine being her target. Once on campus, she decided to camp out, just outside of the department heads offices, her target being the director of the Center for Cognitive Neurology, hoping to catch him as he made his way to his office for office hours or a break.
