"Hey, Mike can you help me find chorus class?" "You're in chorus class?" I chuckled then laughed, "Ok Mr singer." He looked down in embarrassment and laughed, "Yeah yeah there's just something about singing that's so therapeutic." We made it to the stairs and went into the school basement level. As we walked through the cafeteria, I saw the flames arise from the pan. The fire alarm went off, and the red lights flashed. I used to be scared of fire, but I just stood there as the lunch people struggled to put it out. "MIKE WE GOTTA GO!" "Hey, dude just breathe and relax." I held out my hand he latched on very quickly. We began walking calmly with the red lights as some sort of mood light. Cal was very scared but not me, not anymore. We made it to an exit. "Hey, can I ask you a question?" Well, here it comes, the rhetorical what happened to your eye? "Why were the jocks messing with you?" "Well uhh, I am kinda a freak." "MIKE stop your joking? I wouldn't mess with you, you are kinda scary." "Scary well uhh actually I mean kinda ok yeah." "Don't worry you don't scare or freak me out." We saw all the students head back into the school building I finally walked Calvin to his class. And made my way back to the counselors' room since I didn't wanna go to my classes today.
After School
The bell rang and I was free I never got up so fast and sprinted to my locker slammed it and went outside. I met up with my siblings. "Time to go home family lets go," Kiara said. Cal's car slowed and he said, "Mike, you need a ride?" "FUCK YEAH!" I jumped into the front seat of his white Toyota. Kara laughed at Miko's dropped jaw. I flipped him off as we drove. Kara laughed even louder. Calvin asked, "Where do you wanna go?" Well, I need to go to the store." "Wait we're getting coffee first." I rolled my eye. We got our Coffee. "Cal you got a coffee stash." I laughed "Shut up you do too!" We both laughed. "Is it cool having siblings?" "No." "Wow, that was a quick answer." "I do have one sibling but he's in the military." "Do you know him?" "Not really." "Were here at the store you requested. Let's go, Michael!" He leaped out of the car I followed.
We ran through the store I grabbed a new red razor mouthwash toothpaste a new toothbrush. We looked at the cereal aisle. I never really had cereal I can't eat gluten." My jaw dropped "You haven't eaten cereal! No best friend of mine is not at least gonna try it. We went to the register and greeted the lady with a hello and scanned our items. "The total is $16.85." I gave her a twenty-dollar bill and she bagged our items. Calvin and I simultaneously thanked her. We went to Calvin's car. While driving I asked him, "Calvin can you pull over?" He nodded and pulled the car over. I got out as the car door slammed and said, "I know this is gonna sound creepy but follow me, Calvin." I said in a creepy joking tone. He paused then laughed."WHY DID YOU SAY IT LIKE THAT MICHAEL!" Then I burst out with laughter.
He followed me he looked very scared. I stopped dead in my tracks, "Are you ok?" "I... I'm just a little scared." "You'll be fine." I held out my hand he latched on like a magnet. I pulled him through these bushes. To this beautiful opening with a majestic waterfall and decently clear water. His jaw dropped, "Michael this place a beautiful what is this place?" "Cal this is Geralds Creak. COME ON CALVIN!" I took my jacket off and claimed to a mini waterfall overhang and dove in. "Michael are you ok!" "I'M FINE CAL GET IN HERE!" My hair covered my whole face except my mouth I splashed him. He took his shirt off and slowly started his descent. But like a shark, I dragged him in like a megalodon. He resurfaced scared. "Hey, Cal let's play Marko Polo. Ok, I'll go first" He nodded and swam away. "Marko!" "Polo!" Several calls and responses later he faded. I could barely hear him I opened my eyes to tell him he won I couldn't see him I swam around eventually finding him behind the waterfall. His eyes glistened and he looked so cute with his hair. What the hell am I thinking I don't like guys... but maybe him. My pants said otherwise. "Are you ok ?" "I'm fine ." We swam back to shore. Got dressed and went back to the car. And dried off as best as possible. Then we hopped in.
