Time flies and it does so just too freaking fast. It's been about four years and a month since Pran had moved to Beijing. After spending such a long time chasing his dreams in a new city and a new country, he was now back to his homeland.
Life wasn't the same as it was four years back. It was a Sunday evening and Meh was in the city as well. Pran and Meh decided to meet and hang out a bit.
'Hey, Pran! How are you? Did you miss me?' Meh appeared like a storm and babbled.
Pran: I was in Bangkok last year as well and you were busy working in Chiang Mai. Who should ask this question?
Meh: Sorry! You know my work schedules right? It was an important work commitment otherwise I would have met you. Working for a fashion magazine isn't as easy as you think.
Pran: Ah.. Okay! I really missed you and all my friends here. Everyone is so busy with their work and life in general.
Meh: You didn't even attend our wedding!
Pran: I had planned to attend your wedding but some urgent work came up! I will definitely attend your anniversary party, baby shower etc. etc. But anyway, you and Keith should come over for dinner sometime, my place.
Meh: Incredible! By the way, did you see him?
Pran: Who?
Meh: Pat. Who else?
Pran: How am I supposed to see him?
You would know better.
Meh: Seriously? Don't you miss him as well? What the hell happened between you two suddenly? He has completely isolated himself from all of us. The last time I talked to him....What the fuck! It's been 2 years since we talked to each other.... Whatever he was about to go to Shanghai for your concert. What happened there?
Pran: Can we please not talk about him? I have moved on from that phase, Meh. Please don't ask me anything about that.
Meh: Okay! I will not force you..... So how's your music production going?
Pran: Well it's going great. Working on some new compositions.
Meh: Now that you are going to stay in Bangkok, let's just plan a get together. We need to connect with our friends.
Pran: Yeah! Sure. I will ask P'Ram and P'Pha. They would love to host it.
Meh: It feels surreal right? P'Ram and P'Pha are engaged now. I mean howwww? He was so into you once.
Pran: Meh! Stop embarassing me. We have talked about this earlier as well. I never felt the same for him but P'Ram is such an amazing person. He really loves my sister. They are just so perfect together.
Meh: True that! But isn't it a little....
Pran: Stop it, Meh!
Meh: Okay, fine! Let's just get drunk!
