I felt cold

I felt cold.

Yet warm at the same time.

I don't know if you've ever fucked someone in an igloo in the Sahara, but...it's unusual.

I felt my eyes flutter and my heavy eyelids fight to open up again.

And again

And again

Until it finally worked.

My crystal blue eyes opened up, allowing the light to over take them. Squinting them shut for a moment, I let them adjust to the light before becoming fully aware of my surroundings. Moving my fingers, I felt something holding my hand. Looking to my left, I saw Dimitri, holding onto me as if I was all he had in life. And to my right, someone I've been waiting to see for months now. Isaac.

"Isaac." I croaked out, yanking his hand a little.

His eyes shot open so fast I think he may have broken them. They were darting around the room till the landed on me.

"Hey little sister." he said as he bent down and kissed my forehead like he always does.

"What happened?" I asked, looking at a sleeping Dimitri, who's bags under his eyes could stock up Aldi for a year.

"You were shot by Ramone." He told me.

"Not me, you. When did you wake up?" I asked.

"A few days after you were brought in, when you became stable." He said, stroking his thumb up and down my hand.

"Who else was shot? I heard three shots, but only one hit me." I mutter, looking into his hurting eyes.

"Isaac! Who else was shot!?" I yelled my voice raising, waking up Dimitri. But once he saw the look I was giving Isaac, he stayed quiet.

"James." Isaac muttered.

I just sat there.

Waiting for Isaac to continue or for Dimitri to jump in.

But when they didn't...I knew.

"Was it fast?" I asked, tears glittering my eyes.

"Yes." Dimitri finally spoke as Isaac held his head in his hands.

"Did you call his mother?" I asked. James' mother was a sweet old lady, who has always been aware of the dangers her son faced in this world. I don't know her too well, since she lives in Hull, but she always sent the best Christmas presents.

"Yeah, she knows. The funeral is in a few days." Isaac said, his voice cracking slightly.

"I should go get the doctor." Dimitri said. After giving me a loving peck on the lips, he strode out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Shuffling over on my bed slightly, I made room for Isaac who crawled in not long after. We just laid in the bed, cuddled up like we did when we were little while the doctor did the examinations. Once he was done, he asked Dimitri to leave. He probably would've asked Isaac to leave too if he weren't the leader of the British Mafia.
