me and rui were running from the slayer as rui hold my hand for dear live. i look back to see that we were being chased by 3 slayer. the blond one, the boar mask one , and my brother. my brother is in front of them holding his sword firmly pretending to attack us. rui and i was running to one of the infinity fortress secret entrance, that is in a abandoned looking house in the forest. we were close, but we need to find a way to shake off the slayer from us, so they won't try to continue chasing us in the fortress. my brother seem to realize where we're heading. my brother mouthed " shoot me ", and i then realized what he's was trying to say.

i shoot my brother setting him in flames. my brother faking his screams. the two slayer stopped to help him. i smile a bit looking at them.
i pull rui to stop and splatter some of my blood across the ground to make a line between us with the slayers. we continue running and i look back to see my brother isn't in flame anymore, and the boar masked slayer start to try to catch us. just before he went across the line of blood that i made .

the line i made went into flames creating a wall made out of fire, it made the slayer jump in surprise. with this we managed to escape from the slayer sight. but before we enter the secret entrance i held rui back.
tanjirou pov
zenitsu is still panicking, asking if i was ok. i told him that the pain suddenly vanished with the flames. inosuke was angry to lose rui and nezuko and said that the flames isn't burning hot at all. im just glad that they manage to escape.
i remember about rengoku and tell them to hurry to check on him. we run as fast as we can. to were we jump of the train was.
rengoku is strong, im sure that he can handle akaza and im sure akaza isn't an easy target.
as we arrive we saw rengoku has many injury but still hold his sword tightly. while akaza looked just fine. inosuke was angry and try to charge at him. as akaza was about to throw a punch at him, i ran Infront of him and cut his arm off. i hold inosuke and brought him back to where zenitsu is. akaza wasn't looking at us anymore and just focus at rengoku.
" become a demon kyojirou. and fight with me forever. look at you all hurt, being a demon injury like that are nothing but mere scratches that will heal in an instant. but for you it might take for days or maybe it won't recover at all. when you become a demon im sure you'll rise to the uppermoon rank in no times" akaza said with a grin offering his hand to rengoku.
rengoku looked angrier and hold his sword more tightly. " I WILL NEVER JOIN YOU. I WILL FIGHT TILL MY LAST BREATH. I WILL FULLFIL MY DUDTY. TO PROTECT THE WEAK. ". akaza looked slightly a disgusted by rengoku word. but I can smell a scent of disappoinment from him. rengoku then make the first move to attack akaza. zenitsu and inosuke look amazed and scared at the scene, they didn't move at all thinking that they might just slow him down if they try to help.
i can see rengoku getting more and more injured in the battle. I can't stand it anymore and join the fight. inosuke and zenitsu screamed my name, but was taken surprise to see me manage to catch up with them. i attack akaza but never aimed for the neck. rengoku immediately manage to adapt to the battle with tanjirou helping and try his hard to cut the neck off.
the sunrise is about to start soon and rengoku isn't slowing down. akaza need to find a chace to escape or he'll turn to dust. akaza manage to push rengoku away and take the chance to run. he went to the forest straight to the entrance . as i was running i smell nezuko and rui scent. they haven't left yet. i look at the road ahead and see lot of blood on the ground and trees. when rengoku about to run across the bloody forest. the forest lit up with flames. this time there heat come out from the fire so it tell that this one is actually burning hot.
nezuko akaza and rui scents started to fade. this make me feel relieved. rengoku loses his grip on his sword. realizing that there's no use in chasing them anymore. he collapse to the ground. i run to him and try to carry him. inosuke and zenitsu that just arrive help me carrying him. the kakushi then found us and help us carry rengoku to the butterfly mansion
