part 14

Tanjirou pov.

it's been two week after the fight with akaza. rengoku condition have been improving day by day. i usually came to visit every morning after i return from a mission. i usually talk about the mission and rengoku said he like my company.

this morning i warm up some sweet potato for him. mitsuri said that it's his favorite food. i sit down at the chair next to his bed and hand him one of the potato. he ate it with a big smile on his face. seeing his face give me warm feeling inside. it made me eat my food with a smile too.

giyu pov.

this morning, i went to the butterfly mansion to check on rengoku. just as i about to enter from the front door.  a curtain annoying butterfly call me. " why hello tamioka san whats bring you here". "visiting rengoku" i said. " is that all? you been visiting people more often than usual. don't get me wrong it's nice to see you being nice and having friends, but is rengoku the only person you wish to see?" she said smiling. " yes " i said. " not looking for a curtain boy with red-ish brown hair and red eyes, oh and a scar on the forehead ?".i didn't try say anything and decided to ignore her. " tamioka san do you see anything weird from that boy". i stopped my track when i heard her word. " what do you mean?". i ask her " you know I've collecting blood sample for check up and his blood have been ' unique' "  she said keeping her smile. " could he be the rumored one" i said with a serious tone. "perhaps"

tanjirou pov.

while i was chatting with rengoku the slide door of the room open revealing giyu and shinobu. i greet them both and rengoku offered some of the sweet potato. shinobu said that zenitsu was looking for me at our room. i said goodbye to them and went to our rooms. i open the door and see only zenitsu in the room. he signals to sit next to him at the bed. "what is it zenitsu " i asked. he just looked down for a moment before saying. " are you close with the demon we meet at the train ". i just stayed quiet a moment for a while before answering " well she saved me once on a mission " i said. " is that all ?" i nodded . " alright then " he said , but why do i smell doubt from him. " tanjirou have you ever hear about the two 'friendly demon' " . i just nodded and he continues. "well im sure the one we meet at the train is one of them. but how about the other one have you seen him? " i shake my head in respond, this conversation is starting to worry me . " well i heard that the other one could be her brother. they say he have brown-ish hair, red eyes and mark on his some of his body. " i just froze at his words, have he manage figured out. "is he you?"
