ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 5 - [𝕡𝕦𝕣𝕖 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖]

The morning light softly brushed against me, my eyes flattered open due to the uncomfortably bright light source as I sat up, leaning back against my pillow as I enjoyed the temporary moment of peace

It didn't took long for me to realise that I still got my mission with Obanai today, we agreed to meet up after breakfast, so I should probably get ready

Staying in my bed for another few more minutes, I finally moved myself off my comfy mattress

I did my morning routine swiftly and then changed into my slate blue uniform, of course, not forgetting to put on my cream coloured haori gifted by the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro

Lastly, I put on my mask and secured it, making sure I can see okay, then left my room with my katana in hand

I made my way to the Hashira Courtyard

The Hashira Courtyard is a space with multiple rooms, one of them being the dinning hall where we eat

There are also other facilities such as a huge lounge, a library alongside a study room, for research purposes, a mini training court outdoors [as insists by Sanemi], we even have a kitchen for those who wants to cook, occasionally

Most importantly, only the Hashira knows, we have a secret chamber in the library which has been made to safe room, we agreed that only 1 person is allow to be there at once as it is a space for those who wants to be alone

Back to the topic, I walked into the dinning room to see 5 Hashira already eating

The Flame Hashira - Rengoku Kyojuro

The Insect Hashira - Kocho Shinobu

The Mist Hashira - Tokito Muichiro

The Water Hashira - Tomioka Giyu

And lastly....

The Serpent Hashira - Iguro Obanai

"Ohayo Y/n!"

Upon sensing my arrival, Kyojuro greeted me with excitement

"Ohayo Kyojuro-kun"

I greeted back, before taking a seat next to Muichiro, opposite Giyu, purposely staying away from Obanai after getting my food

"Your mission?"

Giyu asked, reminding me that I have yet to tell him about the mission

"Oh yeah, I'm going to the Sayuri Village, O..Iguro-san is coming with, Oyakata-sama suspect a planned attack so we'll be there to make sure the villagers are safe"

I answered, but I can easily feel the slight change of aura coming from Giyu, as he looked into my eyes as if he was worried about the fact that 'Iguro-san is coming with'

Of course, at the same time, the Serpent Hashira felt a sharp pain at his heart

Simply because he noticed the Frost Hashira has stopped referring him as 'Obanai-kun', but instead she called him 'Iguro-san'

She picked up the honourifics again....

"Where is the Sayuri Village?"

Muichiro asked, in his usual dreamy voice

"We talked about this Muichiro-kun, try to remember, it's a village to the West"

The young Mist Hashira seems to concentrate very hard for a moment, trying to remember, until he suddenly looked up at me once more

"Is that the village full of people with special blood type?"

Seeking for reassurance, Muichiro's eyes shines with soft desperation of being assured
