I have many different mates
Many of them with funny traits
But none of them can make me laugh
Like you do
And I know many trustworthy people
A whole list that I could recall
But none are as loyal
As you are
And I have friends that make sure I'm okay
With many comforting words to say
But none can brighten my day
Like you can
And though sometimes I can be hateful,
Just know what I am grateful
Because whenever I'm sad, you always come through
I could never love another,
The way that I love you
