Its the weekends, meaning its finally rest day for hubby and I. We were all doing the usual routine with me flipping pancakes, my husband reading his newspaper while drinking coffee and my daughter using her coloring books, drinking her OJ at the same time.
I placed the food on the table before sitting beside them.
She suddenly looked up at me and asked "Mommy, how did you meet daddy?"
I grinned and started recalling the very first day her father and I met..
"Well, I was going to a hotel and saw your dad as soon as he came out of the elevator. We bumped into each other and in that moment when I first laid eyes on him, I fell in love."
She looks at me in glee, "You mean love at first sight?" She gushed.
I nodded when hubby suddenly lowered his newspaper before saying,
"If that's what you call stalking and trying to run past security, in the elevator and jumping on top of me while screaming in my ear then fine, that's what happened."
