It was a month after sokovia and Wandas life was about to get even more shit than before.
She was 15 and lost everything.. Nat understood this and looked after the girl to help her heal. Nat decided to become Wanda's legal guardian. Nat understood the risk of this so did Wanda but Wanda really wanted it and so did Nat she always wanted a daughter, to feel wanted felt nice to Wanda. This was complicated too say the least as Wanda was enhanced the government unfairly judged her. So if the fostering process fell through it meant that Wanda got taken away from Nat.. from the avengers just as she was making some healthy progress.
But this was horrifying the paper work fell through.. and the government took over Wanda's care. As she was enhanced they put power blocking bands on her wrists and dumped her in the foster system.
The foster system Wanda was in it for three weeks. Those three weeks feeling hellishly long. She got put into an abusive foster home and couldn't defend herself. She got a taster of public highschool, by a taste I mean she was bullied.. badly. Kids at school would mock her accent, reading out loud ability she lost so many years of school due to poverty she struggled. The kids punched and kicked her, called her names they hurt her anyway they could whether it was emotionally or physically they did it. As her home life was bad at the moment Wanda was constantly at war with herself. She couldn't tell her foster parents, her teachers didn't like her as she constantly needed help causing distractions they thought she did it to be popular with the to other kids when in reality she felt utterly alone her mind believing the things she was told, she felt worthless.
She felt weak at least at hydra she had Pietro, at least on the streets she had Pietro some one to keep her grounded and at least after all that she had Nat but now she wasn't allowed contact with the avengers. None of them she hated that she couldn't talk to her family. Now not only mourning her brother, the bulling, the abuse she missed Nat. As well as the others just wanting Sam to make her laugh, teaching Bucky to cook sokovian meals or Steve rambling on about 'the good old days'. She missed her family. Her family.
