As Nat sat there contemplating what to do with the young girl in the bed she heard small whimpers escape Wanda's mouth that turned into shouts of panic. "NO NO STOP IT I DON'T WANNA!! I WANT PIETRO!! PLEASE NOT AGAIN!! PLEASE.. HELP PLEASE IT HURTS-" Nat tried to comfort the young girl. The shouts were cut off by Wanda waking up abruptly. "Nat?.?.? " Wanda said timidly peaking out from behind her knees. "Hi malash it's okay.. you not there anymore sweetheart okay?" Nat said rubbing her back. "Th-Thank you" wanda stumbled over her words.

"Are you hungry Hun? I bought you some breakfast" Nat said gesturing to the pancakes on the side. "Yes please!" Wanda said eagerly as she hadn't eaten in days, weeks even. "Here you go Hun" Nat handed the plate to Wanda after cutting them into bitesize pieces,to make less of a chocking hazard. Wanda's childlike innocence showing as she pretended to feed her toy tiger some too.

"Hello ladies, good morning!" Bruce said as he entered the room. "Hewo" Wanda said adorably and starting to come out of her shell. "Hi Bruce" Nat said. "I just have to do Wanda's obs and then we can talk about how we are going to fix her owie" Bruce said booping Wanda's nose causing her too scrunch it up. "Okay.." Wanda said. "Thats great!" Nat said. Bruce took Wanda's temperature, blood pressure and heart rate, she was perfectly fine there.. still malnourished but she was doing okay at the moment. "Okay Wanda me and Nat are going to talk about fixing your owie would you like to watch a movie? Disney perhaps?" Bruce said. "Okay.. I've never watched Disney before.." Wanda said timidly as Nat was leaving her. "Thats fine milaya how about I put my favorite one on while you stay here and I'll be just out there" Nat said as she pointed to the glass door once wanda nodded "Jarvis: play Lilo and stitch on med bay screen 8 please" nat said as she left the room giving Wanda a reasuring smile as she left the room.

**With Nat and Bruce**

"So what can we do for her?" Nat asked getting straight to the point. " Me and my team decided to remove it surgically while she's unconscious as this would be the least painful option" Bruce explained. "Okay.. when?" Nat asked. "Today if that's alright with you and Wanda of course.. we can prep her now and the procedure can be finished within the next three hours" Bruce said. "Yea that's fine with me.. do you want to go and ask Wanda now?" Nat said. "Yea that's okay" Bruce said slightly surprised at nats reaction and they walked back in Wanda was still watching her film concentrating on the blue alien. "Hey detka can we talk too you about something?" Nat said apprehensively. "Okay .. can I watch this afterwards please?" Wanda asked politely. "Of course Hun this is very important and you need to know what is going to happen" Nat said softly taking Wanda's hand for moral support. "We need to take the tube out of your arm so it stops hurting, can we do that?" Nat asked. "Wil-ll it hurt?" Wanda asked nervously. "No Hun it won't you'll be in a special sleep so you can't feel it" Nat assured. "Otay.. can Nat and tiger stay with me?" Wanda replied her voice getting smaller. "Of course honey" Nat assured. "When?" She squeaked out. "is now okay??" Bruce asked. "Okay" Wanda agreed.

The surgery went fine and Wanda is currently sleeping off the sleeping medication. Nat was doing some paperwork when she stirred awake. "Good morning wands are you okay??" Nat asked and was met with a groan of displeasure to being awake. "Hello Nat" Wanda said groggily trying to sit up. "Oh no honey let me help, okay.. here" nat said as she helped the young girl sit up. "Nat can we carry on watching the stich film now??" Wanda said happily feeling better than before and her arm no longer had the stabbing pain it used too. "off course hunny!" Nat said matching her enthusiasm as it was only 3pm. Wanda cuddled into Nats side and whispered something. "What did you say honey?" Nat asked. "Thank you for rescuing me.. I like it here " Wanda whispered slightly louder. " Love you little witch" Nat said while messing with the girls hair. "later though missy you are having a shower!!" Nat said ticking the little girl.

Later that year, Wanda woke up on her 8th birthday and found Nat with tiger under her arm to go downstairs for presents with the rest of the team and Nat could see the joy etched across her face. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANDA!!" was shouted at her as she entered the common room. All the avengers pitched in and helped decorate. Steve got her a stich cake. Wanda was overjoyed. After an amazing day with the avengers Nat had one more surprise..

"Wanda honey you have one last present!" Nat called her over holding a small envelope covered in balloons. "can I open it?? please Tasha" Wanda practically begging her. "Sure honey here" Nat said as she handed over the wrapped envelope. Jarvis was filming, Nat had a goofy smile and looked overjoyed as well as all the other avengers. "What is it.. NO WAY!!" Wanda cried. "Read it out honey.." Nat promoted. "THIS IS THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENT THAT NATASHA IS LEGALLY WANDA MAXIMOFFS MOTHER!!" Wanda screamed as she flung herself at Nat hugging her tightly "thank you I love you mamma.." Wanda said into nats ear. "I love you too little witch" Nat said overjoyed.
