Dear Garu

After a lot of thinking and uncomfortable staring, Pucca finally decided to hand the white envelope to Garu, in which she wrote a truly important letter. As he opened, Pucca rapidly took it from his hands, indicating him to read it when he was alone, then she gave it back to him.
Garu kept looking up and down to Pucca and the letter with a lot of curiosity.

A couple minutes later, Ching and Abyo came back from the river.

Ching POV:

When we got back, I could see Pucca blushing a lot so I assume she already gave him the letter.

"The river was pretty but it kinda looked like pee." Abyo said as we sat on the blanket.

"I already told you it was a reflection." I reminded.

"Still... yuck." He spoke causing me roll my eyes. "Huh? Garu, what's wrong?" Abyo added making me and Pucca turn to see Garu. He signaled that he needed to go, so we all said goodbye to him and he left the place.

"Weird. We've only been here for thirty minutes. I thought he was free today." I wondered.

"I'm sure he was just scared to go near the pee river." Abyo mentioned.

"Oh my god, Abyo, stop it with the pee river." I implied crossing my arms. "Pucca, did you gave him the letter?" I asked, receiving a nod from her.

"What letter?" Abyo voiced.

"A love letter for Garu~" I answered teasing.

Garu POV:

I didn't need to leave but I was extremely curious about the envelope that Pucca gave to me.

I got to my house and rushed to my room. My window has open and the wind could be felt in my bedroom. The light was off and my bed was very messy, but I didn't care about that.

I sat on the verge of the bed and stared at the envelope for a couple of seconds before opening it. It was a white envelope with a red heart on the middle and it smelled nice.

"Dear Garu,

What does love mean to you? Is it a four letter word? A feeling? Or a completely different thing?
Love has always been confusing; one day you understand it, and the next day you forget it. Why is it so hard though?

I don't understand love, at all, but I do know that I truly love you. I am in love with you, Garu. I'm sure you know about this, just as everyone else does but I need to know how you feel about it.

Everytime I tackle you, kiss you, even hug you, I get pushed away. I understand I am a clingy person, and I'm working on it, but I have to know if you hate me for it; hate can be a strong word, but maybe your feelings about it are just as strong.

I'm sorry if this is bothering, you don't have to answer, but I would really appreciate it if you do.

Love, Pucca."

When I finished reading the letter I didn't know what to think about it. I read it again, and again, but I was having trouble trying to understand it. She thinks I hate her? I don't want her to believe that, I do not hate her. I don't know what to do, I don't need to raise her hopes thinking I'm in love with her either. I have to answer, but I should be gentle.

I went to my desk and took a white paper and a blue pen from my drawer. I stared at the paper not knowing how to start the letter. I used tons of paper sheets with different words on each one, but none of those were good enough for her.

At the end, I decided to not overthink about it and just write whatever came to my mind at the moment. The final result wasn't that bad, I made sure to express my feeling the best I could, since I'm not that good at showing or telling how I feel.

My plan was going to the Goh-Rong tomorrow, before Pucca wakes up, and leave the letter to her uncles so she can read it with calm when she is ready to. I'm nervous of what she'll think about it. My intentions aren't to make her feel like a burden or worse, to make her feel unloved; she is an awesome girl but I can't return her feelings.

When I arrived, the next day, the Goh-Rong was still closed so I knocked on the big red door a couple times and waited for an answer.

The door opened showing one of Pucca's uncles, uncle Ho. "Hey, Garu, good morning. What are you doing here so early? Do you need a ninja breakfast for a mission?" He greeted. I shook my head and showed him the letter that I wrote. "Oh. Do you want me to deliver this to Pucca?" He asked and I nodded as a response. "She is still asleep at the moment but I'll give it to her when she wakes up." He added and I thanked him.

After that, I went back to my place and tried meditating but I was too anxious waiting for Pucca's reaction.

Pucca POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, which is set to wake me up at 7:00 a.m. to start my shift in the restaurant. Today I'm doing deliveries with my scooter so I'm excited to start the day.

I stood up from my bed and went directly to the restroom so I could take a shower, it was very relaxing since I was a little nervous for the letter that I gave to Garu yesterday. I decided to wear just a plain red dress, black leggins and two buns on my head.

I rushed downstairs and greeted my uncles with a hug. "Pucca! How was your sleep?" My uncle Dumpling asked and I smiled as an answer.

"Good morning Pucca" My uncle Ho spoke joining the conversation. "Garu left a little something for you earlier, it seemed important." He added making me even more nervous. Then he handed me a white folded paper. "Go read it in your room, you can come back later."

I ran to my room and closed the door. I jumped to my bed not caring if it got all disordered. My heart was pounding and my tongue was ticklish. I unfolded the paper to find lots of words, some of them were scratched and the writing was messy but it was full of emotions.
