Yelling.
That was the first thing I heard when waking from my sleep. The voices sounded somewhat familiar, but I couldn't quite place exactly from where I had heard them before. That is, until I opened my eyes and the memories came flooding back in like a dam had broke and set them all free.
The two arguing voices I quickly identified as my father and his assistant, I was in a manor, and I was laying in a bed. But not just any manor and not just any bed, no; this was the manor I had to leave behind all those lives ago, and this was the very bed I would wake up in every morning of my very first life.
Am I really back?
I immediately threw the covers off of myself and ran into the personal bathroom, headed straight for the mirror that would confirm everything for me.
Looking at the girl in the mirror; she no longer had Suyin's long burgundy hair or her crimson tinted eyes, no. This girl had long jet-black hair, bangs cut in a straight line right above her ruby red eyes. Her skin was not adorned with scars like Suyin's, but it was pale and looked nearly identical to that of a porcelain doll's.
She was me.
The old me that my soul had left behind on that one fateful evening.
I was back.
I was back in the very world that I despised most, the very world that despised me just as much as I did it.
Ok! so it's either enduring or suicide. Anything that had to do with this world wasn't worth an ounce of my time, so I chose the latter. Walking over to one of the drawers under the sink, I pulled it open and my eyes connected with a lone razer. How I found it so quickly? Maybe it's muscle memory, or maybe a message from the Gods above that this is the right choice. I didn't give a shit which.
